The Donkey Kong Country series got its start back in the 90s on the SNES. I've enjoyed pretty much every one of them, even though some may seem repetitive. This is a great one, with many different characters, and lots of action. I highly recommend this to any fan of the original games, as I guarantee you'll love it!

One of the best platformers ever. Perfect weighty physics, tough but fair base difficulty. Tons of replayability with a Hard mode play through (for those who enjoy pain) and time trials. Negatives - Nintendo Tax on a remaster - Water levels, hated since 1989

Awesome game!! Reminds me a lot of the original Donky kong game. I really liked the graphics on this game, big upgrade from the original.

The grandkids love to play it and so does PapPap. Keeps us occupied for hours. Great bonding experience.

Amazing game. It’s a re release. It has that old school donkey Kong platform gameplay with better co op. In the original you had to tag your partner in, this time you play together at the same time. Highly recommend.

This game is special, challenging, I just enjoy to control. It's one of the greatest platformer ever crafted, with probably the greatest level design in a platformer...ever. Retro Studios are world class Developers for a reason. If you're a fan of the Donkey Kong Country series or just platformer, this game is a must have.

As a gamer, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I grew up on old, pixelated Donkey Kong. This is amazing. The graphics are amazing. Love it.

This game is so much fun. My wife and I love this series and it has kept us entertained for months. Word of warning, this game is tough outside of Funky mode. I highly recommend trying the game in the easier Funky mode if you get frustrated. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and well worth the money if you are a DK fan.

I have been always fun of king kong games and i definitely had to get this one to my collection old school games. Best choice ever. I just enjoy playing it for hrs

Bought this for the wife and kiddo since they just finished up the old school Donkey Kong Country 2 for SNES. It's different for sure and takes some getting used to, but certainly some good co-op fun.

Absolutely beautiful and so entertaining. Purchased this on day 1 from Best Buy gamers rewards program (20% off). That took sting off from the $60 price tag that Nintendo put on it since I already own the WiiU version. Can’t put the Switch version down and prefer it on this platform. Recommend this to all Switch owners!

If you didn't have a wii U like me this is a great title to add to your gaming library. Not only is one of the best 2D platformers to own on Switch but it is one of the best ever made. If you love Donkey Kong this is a must buy. If you had this on Wii U don't expect many extras.

This game is amazing. Really feels like an updated version of the old game I loved when I was young back during the SNES times. It really fun to play with two people it really feels like we are playing as a team. Definitely a game for couples and or kids.
