Remake

I never played that one so I purchased this one. I love it. Plays slot like the SNES Donkey Kong Country games which are some of my favorites EVER. I would recommend to old school gamers and new alike.

ALSO love the added gameplay options that this and other switch games are bringing to the table so that everyone in the family has fun from gamers to their younger siblings.

Word of advice, don't try to 100% every stage until the end. This will save you loads of frustration.

My 4-year-old is quite bad at it, but she loves playing the second player and jumping off DK's back in the middle of jumps, sending me to my doom as she cackles with glee.

Fun game, but challenging!

It is a fun, colorful platformer and has a nice soundtrack too. I thought the graphics on the original looked stunning, and it looks even better on the Nintendo Switch!
