Great game for kids!

Fun and easy!

I had recently bough Luigi Mansion and found that it was too hard for my son, DK was fun and easier for him to play. Definitely recommend it.

Fun but Tough Platformer

Even better on switch as my girlfriend and I have already played it on the go in the airport terminal. However, be warned. Casual players will lose A LOT of lives but still a fun experience

Nostalgia for me, but no go for the kiddos!

However, my kids didn't seem to enjoy it after a hour. I feel like nintendo is going to have to move past Mario and other original characters to capture kids today. Also its time to cut consumers a break on game prices for nintendo. Games that are 3 to 5 years old are still selling for $60 like they just got released.

A great DKC game

If you want a fun platforming game, then this game will do that for you. It can get difficult at times so it's great that you can play in Funky Kong mode if you want to have an easier time. Have fun!

Not like DKC for SNES

I didn't buy a WiiU. It looks like it being a side scroller, and feels sorta like it, but the controls are a little odd... Takes a few sessions to get used to it. I honestly found DK64 to be more fun, but it's still a good play.

Awesome Game!

We finally picked it up when it came out for the Switch. We have so much fun playing this together and it brings back great memories of the original Donkey Kong Country games.
