The price of this game was a little higher than what I wanted to pay. But after purchasing the game I found it was worth it, love it and the graphics are awesome and I can't stop playing it and really enjoying it.

It's a nostalgic feeling playing donkey Kong like the old days.. good graphics as well

This game does not hold your hand at all and you will die allot. As a platformer it is a very fun tho

Sharp graphics, incredible level design, and a top notch soundtrack elevate DK Tropical Freeze as one of the greatest platforming games in recent memory. A nice transition from the Wii U version. Definitely worth adding to your collection!

It’s great game that plays very well on switch. Graphics are crisp and the controls responds well. It’s a must have platformer. However, at times is challenging for my children and myself.

Yes, this game came out on Wii U but the visuals hold up very well and seem to have been optimized for the Switch. The gameplay is top-notch as always and will beat you up if you don't watch out. Very entertaining and challenging.

I have always loved the Donkey Kong Country games and happy to have this come out for the switch. Way more convenient to play than setting it up on the Wii U. Also nice to have Funky Kong as an added player for ease of play!

This was a gift. This is a go to game for my grandson. He loves playing this game albeit a little challenging.

Fun game! Similar concept to Mario, has different levels, can play with a second player which is sometimes required to get through certain spots in some levels

At 68yo I am not your typical platform gamer but this game is fun and not too very difficult. If I were better I would not keep dying and have to replay levels so many times.

This is a fun game that reminds me of the old donkey Kong games but with a lot of new and modern twists. It’s definitely a lot harder to get all the letters and now there’s puzzle pieces as well. Wish it was a little simpler like the old school games. Funky mode definitely makes it easier for younger players. Overall it’s a really good and fun game.

I usually don’t like platformers. They use cleaver techniques to make you die unfairly or use some sort of hidden puzzle that blocks you and halts your progress for 25 minutes. Donkey Kong just lets you run free through all of the beautiful worlds linking enemies and dodging obstacles in all kinds of new and interesting ways. If you die, it’s not some stupid mechanic or impossible jump, it’s your skill, plain and simple. It’s just plain fun. I never thought I’d love a platformer again, but this did. The art and animations are so beautifully done as is the level design. This deserves all of the accolades it’s gotten.

This is a fantastic entry into the Donkey Kong Country lineup. Yes it is VERY challenging at times and you might want to chuck your controller, but it's super fun and one of the best platformers for switch.

Hopefully Nintendo keeps pumping these games out. They are incredible! None top the old DKC games on the Super Nintendo, but these are great modern versions and I would recommend them to anyone!

I own over 30 Switch games and this is easily one of my favorite. The level design is amazing, as is the graphics. The new funky mode makes the game more accessible, and is a real addition to the game. Highly recommended.

I don't play much video games now a days but when I do, i tend to gravitate towards classic games particularly platforming games because that's what I grew up on. It's nice to play a new take on a classic character and game (never played tropical freeze on 3DS or Wii U). The graphics are awesome and the game play is great. Controls can be a little tricky but you can get past it. Fun game!

I used to play this game on Super Nintendo and I loved the new version. It uses all the resources available on Nintendo Switch but with great references from the old version. It's nostalgic but new at the same time.

DONKEY KONG ROCKS!!! The colors, the graphics, the plot and the game play, WOW. I was absolutely not disappointed. I LOVE THIS GAME. I'm old, I'm a nurse at a very busy, hospital and my job and COVID-19 were stressing me out so bad I was getting sick. My kids bought me a Nintendo Switch for Christmas. WOW. I think everyone my age should have one of these. It brings me so much happiness because my brain takes a break from thinking about everything. The graphics on this are amazing, I'm all about the color and graphics. As far as length of play, wow, hours and hours. Definitely buy this.
