My kids love everything Donkey Kong, so DK Country was a must buy for our newWii U.

I had bought this game for my nephew, and I ended up playing it with him. It is a fun game, reminds me of the good ol Super Nintendo version. It brings in some new mechanics to the game while still staying true to its roots. A good play for any Donkey Kong fan.

Super fun, yet super challenging, this game reminds me of the challenges on the old system, if your playing with someone that's not very video game inclined then you might not have fun, and I would suggest the mario 3d world, but if they are then you will have a blast

Beautiful looking levels and graphics. The controls and game play itself is easy without sacrificing difficulty and challenging levels. The boss levels are a lot of fun.

The game came with the package deal. The game is fun, but I got it for SSMB.

A fun game for the kids to play a reminiscent of the old donkey kong games

This is a great game with great graphics and gameplay. Only downside is the game gets very difficult. If you can deal with the challenge then you will enjoy this game.

This is a great game, worthy of the DKC franchise. I know I said the load times are long, but it doesn't take away from the experience. Great game for the Wii U!

We are big 2d mario fans, so when we beat all of those games we wanted to try something else on the Wii u. We picked out donkey Kong because it looked the closest to mario. It is similar, but also quite different. There is no time limit in the levels, so levels take a lot longer. Donkey Kong kinda sucks because he can't jump very well and, as far as I can tell, literally can't get to some of the things because of this, which is pretty frustrating. Of course we're used to mario games where you can jump on each other's heads and do wall jumps. Dixie Kong is fun because you can actually jump well. And the bosses we have played so far have been horrible: long and boring and hard at the same time. Overall I like the game though. It's the closest to mario there is, and it can be fun. It just takes a little getting used to.

Fabulous game, amazing levels, beautiful design, fantastic soundtrack, a good challenge, lots of collectables and secrets. One of the best 2d platformers ever.

A great 2d platformer that takes the best part of donkey country country games with a modern twist. Add in the fantastic co-op mode and you've got one of the best 2D platformers of all time and a no brainer purchase for anyone with a Wii U.
