I haven't played all the way through the game yet, But what i have played so far is great! Amazing visuals with great game play. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the DK Country games.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze provides players with a challenge they probably haven't seen in years. Multiplayer features makes it fun for you and a friend. But the difficulty can get overbearing at times.

This game is as fun as any Donkey Kong Country game. It is a little harder than some of the old ones but it's an awesome game.

This game follows the long line of DK games that are a more difficult version of Mario. I am an avid and accomplished gamer and I play all sorts of various game types. The standard levels are of course fun and difficult without being frustrating. But the boss fights are all a bit ridiculous. Every boss is like playing the final game boss. I doubt many kids under 15 will be able to finish many of the levels while solo. Still, a very fun game, great visuals, and a very individual soundtrack.

You know you will like or not like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze before you even read this review. Basically if you enjoy platformers this is one of the best ones of this generation. The graphics are such a fresh air compared to the drab grays and browns saturating most modern games. It's truly a fun nostalgia trip for fans of the original series back on the SNES, but a much fuller experience compared to Donkey Kong Country Returns with more characters and many more levels.

The graphics are awesome best so far. The levels are fun and a good challenge.

Honestly, we bought a Wii U Bundle that had Super Smash Brothers and this game was in there too. It really was more of a bonus than a game we were trying to acquire. But from my limited play of the game, it looks like a winner...beyond what I expected. Excited to have more opportunity to play.

Love this game. Great graphics and gameplay. It is very difficult though for a platform. Not for the casual gamer.

As frustrating as this game can get, it is so much fun and you just can't put it down. It stays true to its roots so if you love any of the Donkey Kong Countries you'll love this one as well!

Love the 3d effects. Bought as a birthday gift for my son and has been fun to play as well as watch.

It's a little reminiscent of donkey kong country for the Super Nintendo, but though, so far, it isn't 3d, it looks more 3d-ish than the Super Nintendo version. Thus far it's decent enough. But I haven't played it very much.

If you have a Wii U, enjoy local co-op multiplayer games, like side scrollers and are looking for a game that is a bit on the difficult side then this is the game for you. Plus it's Donkey Kong!

This game looks and plays great. Fantastic music and audio, and challenging gameplay but easy to get into.

Best thing about this game is its colorful environments and cool bad guys. The penguins and walruses and rabbits and owls are cute and hilarious. The boss battles are all really cool.

This HD iteration of Donkey Kong is loads of fun. Very challenging from the start and the HD graphics bring DK and his protégés to the modern era. Classic style gameplay and great audio make this a list have for Wii U owners. I don't think it is as pretty as it could be considering how incredible Rayman Legends looks, but it still looks great. I do think they could have made much better use of the gamepad. If you like 2D platforming games and you already played through Rayman Legends, then definitely get this. BUT, in my opinion anyway, if you haven't played either and are trying to decide on one, go with Rayman for sure!

I've been waiting for this game to come out for a while cause I like spending time with my nieces and nephew playing the wii u. It's a very fun game with familiar faces . Amazingly beautiful graphics that even tho it's 2d games makes you go "ooooooh" and "ahhhh" ahaha . My only issue is that's you can only play 2 player co-op :/ I'm using to 4 players and I play with all these kids but putting that aside this game is nothing but great !

I bought this game to play with my daughter, but I am the one who has been playing this the most. This game has been challenging from early in the game which is what has kept me interested in the game. My seven year old daughter enjoys the game, but usually doesn't make through the stages with me. At the end of every level, she receives extras lives so she can keep playing alongside of me. I would recommend this to any Wii U owner.

Fun to play. For me, I wish the levels did not get so difficult so soon. I still enjoy it though.

Cool story the characters are great, each character has their own special ability, which is nice the graphics are great, I was really surprised that Nintendo pulled this game off, cause my wii u was collecting dust but now I have a great game to play. They could have use the tablet on the controller a Lil more but this is a must buy I will give this game a 10!!!!!! Nintendo know how to do their first party games....excellent
