A fantastic HD debut for Donkey Kong Country with exceptional music and cooperative gameplay.

The graphics on this game are amazing but it's definitely a lot harder than I was expecting.

It has been well worth the wait for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The graphics are eye popping with great depth and resolution. One of my favorite parts, is they were able to keep the similar gameplay like the previous releases. At first, using the Wii U controller may feel a little awkward, but after 1 hour, it becomes second nature. I give this game 5 stars! Thank You Nintendo lets keep those bananas coming.

Much more difficult than Mario (to me anyway), this fun remake of a classic is visually stunning and addicting. Only bummer is that you cannot view both on game pad and television, and I'm not sure why...? Otherwise, this great game is worth every coin!

It's a difficult game but like all the DK'S in the past you get it cracked at the right point. For sure NOT for beginners and kids under 10. Be warned. Uga! Uga!

i picked this game up for my sister. she seems to enjoy it very much. long levels and lots of challenging puzzles. i would recommend this for any wii u owner.

This is way different than the Donkey Kong from the 80s, but my 7 and 10 year old both love it. I don't think it is better than Mario 3D World, but it's close.

Ultimately bought this for about $35 after GCU. It's hands down one of the better Wii U games. I'm not a big DK fan but really enjoyed this game.

Donkey Kong has always been a challenging game and this latest version is no exception. I find myself immersed in the backgrounds and multiple colors with the stunning visuals when all of a sudden I lose a balloon. This game isn't an easy Super Mario platformer. DK will challenge you. The multiplayer is fun and helpful in many spots of the game. Another must own for the WiiU.

Great game play and amazing detail in the levels. Donkey Kong is on top

It's similar to DK Country Returns for Wii. They have added 2 new characters besides Diddy to tag along. It has lots of cool worlds to explore.

Good game for more experienced gamers. Not recommended for younger kids just because levels are somewhat challenging. Overall fun game.

Really fun to play with someone although it can be frustrating, but that's because it's a game that requires team work if there is two of you.

While it is a good game you die alot. Not enough that you get discouraged but enough that you will probably only play it in spurts. I wish they added some amiibo functionality. Controls are a little slippery at first.

This game is very challenging but still has the old Donkey Kong quailities we grew up with.

This game is definitely on my favorites list for the Wii U. Each world is challenging and to be honest its taken me quite a while just to get to the second world. I recommend this game for every Wii U user out there.

Excellent platformer game if you like the genre. I don't play it often as I'm usually playing shooters or something on my other consoles but this is a good break from those. Excellent graphics. The Wii U has excellent 1st party titles and something everyone in the family can enjoy.

Everything in Tropical Freeze was made with extreme care and attention. From the landscapes and enemies to the music and level design. Each island has its own ecosystem so filled with details and different things to do that, as soon as one level is over, the question of what will Retro do next always looms around, and the developer always surprises.

A must if you want to get 100% on DKCTF. Has already allowed me to get all the Kong letters and puzzle pieces on the first 2 islands.

Great game, easy controls, looks good in HD. No complaints here
