This game is amazing! I can't see how anyone could dislike it. It's enjoyable throughout, and the gameplay is very challenging, especially when compared to other Nintendo side-scrollers like Super Mario Bros. The background music is so well-made and the graphics are stunning and imaginative. Definitely would recommend this game :D

I still like the original Donkey Kong best, but this one is pretty good. The graphics are terrific, but the game itself doesn't offer much new, at least as far as I have gotten. I love playing the cooperative games with a friend, but Diddy is fairly limited. The Mario games incorporate cooperation much better. I thought in the original game Donkey could throw Diddy, but if he can in this game, I haven't yet figured out how. Still, a solid, enjoyable game.

This is the most amazing Dk game I've ever played. I highly recommend this game to every WiiU owner. If you don't own a WiiU....BUY ONE! This game looks fantastic at 60fps. The soundtrack is wonderful! The difficulty may make you want to throw your gamepad or controller across the room, but you'll keep coming back for more.

The bosses in this are so much better then donkey Kong Country returns. This game is a blast to play with my family.

This reminds me of when I first started to play this game along time ago another good adaption to the franchise

My two little boys have loved this game! It is a lot of fun for them to play together. Great graphics and sounds!

Challenging 2D platformer with many well hidden secrets and idtems to collect. Lot's of fun with 2 player co-op.

if you are a fan of DK or just nintendo games in general, you need to add Tropical Freeze to your collection

This game is the first good Donkey Kong game in awhile. Controls are easy to understand. Graphics and audio is great. Storyline is great. The character selection is great. Finding all the pieces in certain levels is extremely difficult, and a bit of a deterring factor. Overall though, it was a great game.

If you enjoy platformers and enjoy a challenge, there really is no better than this game. The graphics are very nice, the music is absolutely amazing (composed by David Wise from the original Donkey Kong Country games). The level design is engaging and well thought out. My favorite game for Wii U so far.

I had the original Donkey Kong Country on Super Nintedo, finally got the Wii U and got this new game and its awesome, just like the old version except more fun and intense!

This is an awesome game and a great addition to the Donkey Kong series. This is the first game in HD and looks amazing. The music is great. The thing I like the most, however, is the level of difficulty. You will spend a lot of time on this game especially if you like collecting everything like I do.

This is my favorite Nintendo game series out of them all. This is the newest game in the DK series and is my favorite so far. It is extremely easy to control the characters and this game is very challenging compared to a lot of the classic Nintendo game titles. The graphics are great as well.

And this game is a challenge. Very tough but so well designed. Retro knocks another one out the park.
