The game is awesome and brings back memories from the original donkey kong. The music is very familiar and makes me excited to play the game. The railroad level is back which was my favorite as a kid so that was exciting! I can't wait to beat more levels to see what else the game has in store!!

If you're a fan of the Mario/Donkey Kong games from Nintendo, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is another great addition to your library. Really fun game.

If you played and liked Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii, this game is for you. Retro took what they did with their first DKC title and made it even better. DK and fam have never looked better with gorgeous visuals. The levels are teeming with life. And David Wise, the original DKC composer, is back and has delivered a killer sound track. In a time when many people have complained that video games have become too easy, Tropical Freeze offers a fairly high difficulty for those looking to take on the challenge. Most people will die......a lot, but thankfully the game does help you acquire enough extra lives to avoid a game over. While there's only 6 worlds, there's approximately 12 stages in each, plus plenty of collectibles to keep you running through the game several times and extending the life of the game. For Wii U owners looking for a new game to play, and for those that want to play the next best platformer after Rayman Legends, do yourself a favor and pick this game up.

Very fun I have the 3ds game and love it so i got this and am happy to say its a better game.

This game brings back all the DK nostalgia. Crisp graphics with the traditional side-scroller playing style. The game is also a challenge which is very addictive.

Very fluid gameplay based on the previous Country titles, as well as 2 player co-op support.

This game is amazing. From the graphics, to the music, to the level design. I am in complete awe while playing this game. I play it with my kids and were having a really good time playing it. If your on the fence about this one, stay there no more. This game will not disappoint you.

Donkey Kong makes his return to the Wii U and it's a game that you can't pass up if you own the Wii U or plan on buying one soon. This is platforming done just right for the more than casual player experience. Never does it feel as if the difficulty is too intense to the point of frustration or "cheap mechanics" in the gameplay to intentionally make it difficult. Donkey kong is such a beautiful looking game, vibrant and visually pleasing to anyone that happens to look its way. The music is something that makes its presence known with the familiar tunes of Donkey Kong on the SNES to all new soundtracks that fit so well with landscapes of the stages and have such a charming and peaceful tone to them its hard not to relax while playing.
