The action is faced-paced and the demons are fierce and vicious. As a bonus, those individuals who preordered Doom Eternal received Doom 64, which is also nothing but nostalgic fun. Instant buy!

Old School Fun

The dark, heavy, jump-scare feel of Doom 3 and everything since then is gone. This is rapid-fire, quick twitch shooting where your character seems to weigh about 10 pounds and moves at 30 MPH. Enemies are plentiful, weapons are ridiculous, and kills are comically gory. It reminds me of playing Unreal Tournament for hours on end back in the 90s. I honestly loved Doom 3 and the Doom reboot from a few years back, so I kind of miss that gameplay, but this is fun in a totally different way. Definitely worth picking up.
