This game it great non-stop action! It's best to play in the dark with surround sound. The soundtrack is awesome and the game mechanics are seamless! Great improvement were made to increase the overall fun factor of Doom Eternal. You cant go wrong with this game. Worth you time and money!

Great graphic. Very fast paced! I ordered it online and the case came separate, which I thought was odd.

I must preface this by saying this is the first Doom game I have played. The continuous action and relentless challenges provide hours of entertainment. The soundtrack and gameplay are perfect and always make the situation feel as if it's life or death.

Doom 2016 was a great surprise for a franchise that I thought was dead, but Doom Eternal has lost my interest, not because I'm bored, but because it is frustrating to play. Mainly the issue comes down to gameplay elements that seem to be at odds with each other. Mainly fights with "strategic" enemies such as the gladiator and the marauder generally need ammo refills even at max capacity so these fights have other enemies constantly spawning in them. Worse still is that some of these encounters take place in confined spaces (fighting in tight spaces in general is far too common in this game). These aren't the only things that I have a problem with, but it is the clearest example. Ultimately, I wish that Doom had stuck with the original formula of "shoot until ded". While I generally do succeed and get past these bottlenecks eventually, I never come away with the feeling that I have mastered the tools that the game has given me. Instead it is just a series of walls and while a good portion of these I get past because my skill improves, the number of obstacles that I overcome because I was lucky isn't small. Again, the game has lost the spare utilitarianism of Doom 2016 and its over decorated combat just never allows me as a player to get into any kind of rhythm with it.

This game is busy! If you played Doom 2016, this one takes that formula and pushes it into the red. It throws a lot of weapons and mechanics at you very quickly but if you stick with it, it's very rewarding. Probably the most strategy I've ever experienced in a first-person shooter.

Very well made game that is one of the best if not the best first person shooter games you could play. Very satisfying and tactical through out with great pacing and challenging moments with a great variety of difficulty choices for your skill level with also a great variety of weapons.

Doom eternal is how you make a great sequel. Its fast brutal and awesome. It gets a 8 out of 10.

Great game! Have the entire Doom collection and this one definitely did not disappoint.

Being a first time Doom player, I’ve found that the fight scenes are exciting and very challenging. The problem I have is with the jumping and dashing. I am in the third mission and have spent around 3 hours trying to get by one obstacle. There has to be a secret to how you can control the jumping and dashing combos to be able to clear certain areas. Was really enjoying the game till I got stuck on this one obstacle.

Far more difficult than the previous iteration, definitely going to take some practice.

It’s a total gorefest. Sometimes you just want to blow stuff up! Great game turn your brain off and run around shooting stuff. Completely over the top and ridiculous. 5 out of 5. The DOOM guys know what they are good at and stick to it. -cough- BioWare -cough-

As I get older it's tougher to makes time for video games, but this is one that always takes priority. This new one is no exception. These games always stays true to the original and improves, which makes it awesome.

I have to admit I have not played this yet. I have watched a lot of videos on the ol' youtube about it so it looks spiffy. Actually, I won't be playing it. See, it's a gift. For a person with a PS4. Who's not me. But they did specifically ask for this, and it upscales to PS5, so that's pretty sweet, eh? I mean, it's Doom. I played that ages ago. It's still the same game. Let's do it.

I was a huge fan of DOOM 2016, It was my first Doom game. This improves on Doom 2016 with more enemy variety as well as new mechanics. If you're a fan of FPS games, then you should definitely give this game a try.

Another great Doom game! I have played Doom since the original Doom came out on PC, way back when. The newer games are are great evolution in this franchise. Recommended!

DOOM Eternal, Doom is always a great game FPS to play I like playing this game.

Superb game. Playing through it a second time to clean up the trophies I missed the first time around. My only gripe is the multi player is a bit bare-bones and finding matches can sometimes take a while. Single player campaign is truly a masterpiece.
