Previous Doom was better

Beautiful, but too many platform puzzles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doom Eternal must be one of the most graphic intensive game I've played. Several times I stopped to gaze at the back drop off what I was fighting at or in. The main issue is that at times, every new section or room you go into ends up being a big environmental puzzle to either get an item or open a door to proceed. Normally this really isn't an issue, but several times felt just as I finished an area and wanted to kill more demons, had to stop to figure out how to proceed further. Ugh!!! Kinda had the Tomb Raider feel where you have to solve a puzzle after killing enemies in a space. At one point I thought I was looking for tri-force. Oh and Doom guy is really good at gymnastics, who knew?! Maybe he should do the Olympics instead?

Wonderful sequel

On par with Doom 2016
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very excellent, though the arenas get repetitive and drag on a bit longer than they ought to sometimes; it does slow the pace a bit. More importanly, though, I preordered the Collector's Edition but I don't seem to have received a code for the Rip and Tear Pack. I've checked my email multiple times, even my spam folder, but there's just nothing.
