I am now 50 years old so I played the original Doom many many years ago lol. This is a great successor. Much harder! Graphics are great

I can't really express in a review what makes this game great. The movement mechanics in this game are top-notch. This game added a dash which wasn't present in earlier entries. This may seem like a miniscule addition, but it really adds a depth to the game that is unmatched. The weapon selection is amazing, with each weapon being able to fittingly tackle any situation. The upgrade system is very robust; allowing you to upgrade your weapons, suit abilities, and runes (think of perks in call of duty). This legit makes you feel a sense of powerfully progressing through the game with your equipment. The environments are expansive and look amazing. I highly recommend this game. It actually takes the spot for my favorite first-person shooter of all time, previously occupied by Doom II.

Doom: Eternal is a great sequel to 2016's Doom reboot. Gunplay is smooth, music is rad, and the resource management in battles keeps you on your toes. Definitely recommend this game to those who enjoy fast-paced FPS games.

Great FPS, music is amazing again, alot of enemy variety and amazing weapons. Only negative is there are alot of action buttons being used often so alot of hand movement is needed perfect for paddle or pro controller players on ps4

I'm just gonna say.. this is one of the hardest shooters I've ever played.. love the challange and struggle constantly on ultra violence.. has alot of parkour moments which I dont like at all but still well worth going thru that

This game is pure unmitigated chaos! You are nothing more than a vessel of hate. Shoot everything in site, no exceptions. This is one of the best FPS to come out in years. Highly recommended if you're into the genre at all.

"DOOM Eternal" is a game that I couldn't put down. With the gory and satisfying gameplay, to the incredible visuals, this is an experience that every gamer should participate in. There are a lot of collectibles in this game, as well as easter eggs that beg to be discovered. Also, the environments in this game are gigantic and I appreciated the amount of exploration. The only criticism that I have is about the story. I appreciate them trying to put in a better narrative, but a lot of it became forgettable over time. Plus, it doesn't help that a lot of the backstory that is vital to understanding the past is given to you via documents, and I would've loved to have seen more cutscenes showing the previous years of the DOOM Slayer (maybe the events we read about in the game can be in a prequel). I don't mind reading documents in games (this is coming from someone that read EVERY email in "Death Stranding"), but cutscenes would've emphasized important events better. Essentially, this is a fantastic game with amazing gameplay, visuals, and is a lot of fun. I just think that the story needs some more work.

Most important: This game is fun. Classic Doom gameplay with extra elements. My biggest issue is that you have to be connected online (and to a Bethesda account) to play. I know this happens on a lot of games but I wish they would stop it. The first moment I had to play this was on a day the internet was out and I was bothered that I could not play it. Stayed on the shelf for some time. My other issue is that jumping is somewhat frustrating in the game and there are some moments that require precision and it slows the momentum of the game I got this for less than $20 and it is well worth it.

I have only played this game several hours. The graphics are nice, gameplay is straight forward and the on screen action is awesome. I do not regret this purchase. It helps that I got this on sale also

Better than I expected, Doom Eternal does everything Doom 2016 did but better and with more action. I did also appreciate that Best Buy allowed for the purchase of the steelbook cover, and it was free with the pre-order

If you like doom a little. You will have a great time playing this game. Headphones on playing in the dark with a hdr monitor just helps bring out the graphics, and color without being too distracting. Don’t miss out.

From the start to the end this game is absolutely fast paced action packed with a ton of collectibles. You cannot go wrong with this game visually and gameplay wise this is going to be one of the best FPS games of 2020.

Doom Eternal takes everything from 2016 Doom and ramps it up. The graphics are amazing. The controls are top notch and the glory kills never get old. In my opinion this should be game of the year. Buy this game.

Such a great game! Renewed my love for FPS singleplayer games! It's also very challenging! You get stuck on some parts and have to really figure out how to work through the hoards of enemies!

Beautiful graphics and a rockin' background score. The game continues on from the past game, and delivers. Demons aplenty in every level rarely giving you time to pause making the game even more interesting.

If you loved Doom (2016), you’ll love this even more as it is everything that game was and more with so much to offer in terms of gameplay. It’s an amazing game that deserves the recognition it has gotten.

The game starts exactly were the previous Doom ended, it is practically the same game play as the previous one but is harder this time. Great graphics and story

This is a gift for my daughter & it's what she had on her wish list for Christmas, the fact that it was available & Best Buy had the best price deal for the game, was very pleased
