For what it is Doom is loads of downright violent fun, graphics look smooth, gameplay is straight to the point, kill or be killed & with glory kills & epic music during battles it makes that much better. Isn't much story but this is Doom we are talking about here, so if you want a story driven game than this isn't for you but if you wanna kick demon a** all night get this game!

This is the Best Doom graphically hands doom and likely in content as well.

DOOM is one of the best updates to an old franchise we've ever seen. Keeps all intense combat and fun secrets, and slaps on a beautiful new coat of paint, and a great soundtrack to bring DOOM to a new generation. Highly recommended.

Fast paced run and gun action with ratchet and clank style weapon upgrades, a health recharge system that depends on how you finish each demon, and ammo pickups from chainsaw kills all makethis game unique and constantly going.

Had high hopes for this game since I played the original so many years ago, but sadly, the multiplayer aspect is much to boring and plain to say the game overall is great. Single player has it's moments, great looking fights, bosses, enemies. Story is as dull as you can get, but the action is there. Gets repetitive after about an hour, but can't hold that against it. Single player takes about 7-8 hours, then you move to multiplayer and there is where h e l l really is. It's just as though they wanted to make some quake/doom past multiplayer game from the past, and failed hard at it. Nothing fun, maps aren't that great, nothing to make you want to continue playing like other multiplayer games out there. If you can find the game cheap, go for it, other then that, wait.

The single player campaign for Doom is the most fun I've had in a while with any shooter, I can honestly recommend it to anyone thats a fan of shooters.

This is a great game. If you like the idea of wandering around and slaughtering tons of demons in quick-paced, excellent combat, then pick this up.
