For anyone that liked Doom growing up this will fill that void and any new comers can easily enjoy the fast paced mindless run and gun action Doom Offers... Would not buy this for the kiddies though seeing its not pulling any punches when it comes to brutality and gore lol... Great Game

Awesome looking game with so many enemies and weapons. Great fps game

My only complaint is jumping from platforms and falling to my death! But I love how you can adjust the difficulty without losing your progress. The weapons are also a lot of fun. The unlockables and secrets are great. I saw elements of pretty much all prior Doom games in this one, even though it is a reboot. It was definitely worth the wait.

Doom has a fantastic campaign, fun multiplayer i highly recommend it.

I really love the story mode in this game. Some parts are scary when the demons jump out at you. Not to crazy about the multiplayer though. If you love a game for the story this is highly recommended!

Sometimes you just need a dose of ultra violence in your life and Doom will always be there to give it to you. Very impressive environments and gunplay that makes you feel unstoppable!

Doom was one of the first games that I have ever played and loved. Doom 2 was great. I disliked Doom 3. So how was this new Doom? I enjoyed it very much. The action is fast and fun. There is a compromise between old school health packs and newer health regeneration methods. This was very welcome, and I enjoyed the single player very much. Not much story, but things constantly evolve. Multiplayer is a bit too simple for longevity's sale, but still a fun distraction.

If you love COD and those types of first person shooters this might not be the game for you. This is very much a run-and-gun type game that forces you to run around the shoot at the same time. You're gonna miss, you're gonna die, but its awesome nontheless. The music is great, the story is thin but who cares when you get to use a chainsaw to wreck some havoc. It's a great time, and has loads of features to keep you busy.

This game is way more fun than I had originally anticipated. But being that I had no more games to play, I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. The game has a great variety enemies and amazing weapons that you won't find in other games. Very happy with the purchase, and with a 20 dollar price tag, getting this game is a no brainer.

I played the original Doom back in the day. This new game does a good job of reviving the mood and gameplay for modern game platforms. However, even though it's very good at what it does, I personally find myself drawn to more story-driven games these days. But that is strictly my opinion -- if you want a blast of pure FPS gameplay this is solid stuff.

Twelve years after the mediocre, grim-dark mess that was Doom 3, Id Software return with perhaps the best FPS in years. It preserves all that is great about the early games with all the advantages of modern tech. Nothing else like it on the market right now. Definitely a huge breath of fresh air for those tired of the formulaic big shooters that dominate.

Okay, I am not good at FPS games. The game is fast paced compared to the doom I remember on my 32x and PC in the 90's. I have not gotten too far, even on the normal setting I die and get my shield drained a lot. I think it will get better once I upgrade some stuff more. I didn't know what to expect with Bethesda as the producer of it. I enjoyed Skyrim and Fallout series a lot. Doom is nothing like those 2.

The game is great, a definite 8 or 9 star video game with everything you expect from the Doom franchise. However when I ordered the game on March 20 the website told me it would ship by April 19...WTF? Not sure why this is, Doom is a popular game that you can pick up at every game store. Why would it take a month to ship it? I went ahead as I was using an e-gift card and it took about 15 days before it shipped. My BB homies have to fix this.

I'm not much for multiplayer, so this isn't really going to cover that. This game was great, much more than what I was expecting, and exactly what I wanted. Frantic fast gameplay with just a little bit of downtime between waves of enemies to explore for more powerups. The upgrade branch was rewarding and the weapons each had their own use.

This is a fast-paced game that gives you adrenaline in chunks everytime you arrive to a new area thats filled by monster which you have to kill in order to investigate the area in search of clues for the game story or hidden areas with powerups Great Graphics, Great Sound! This is a must-have if you're into Action Games An Instant Classic

Captured that original doom feel but reinventied itself at the same time. Great game not really feeling the multiplayer mode though.
