It's interesting how an old school approach to gameplay can feel so fresh. There's no cover shooting here, just aggressive and in your face gameplay. Really glad I bought this. If you're a fan of the original Doom, you should absolutely check this out. But don't think this feel like an old game. It doesn't. I'm having a blast with this.

Great remake of a classic game love the action awesome gore

My son loves this game pleanty of action and cool weapons.

This game is just phenomenal! The graphics are beautiful, the mechanics for an fps are new and very fun. It is a constant challenge, the collectibles are awesome, and the story mode (even with a silent hero such as DOOM Guy) was great! I've heard bad things about multiplayer, but I haven't played that portion so that's for you to decide.

Honestly, the doom franchise has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been playing them ever since I was little, so this new installment had me excited, but I didn’t expect it to be this good! It’s simple, bloody, gory and just adernalizing fun. If you’re a fan of shooters and doom this is a must have

Doom for PS4 is a solid modern version of the older PC game. Speaking of which, multiplayer map updates also include a version of the original games. Straight forward story and gameplay. Stay alive, run n gun, solve puzzles to advance, kill bosses and repeat! Can be played offline (without internet connection) for Story mode but you will need internet connection for online multiplayer mode. A good buy for your game library.

My Nephew has a PS4 game and this was one of the games he wanted for Christmas, therefore, his request was granted.

This is a very fun game, but extremely violent and blood.

Game had a good story and great graphics. Monsters were unique. Great gameplay. Really recommend it.

Got the game while on sale, and used 5 or 10 dollars of rewards certificates. So it didn't cost me that much. To my surprise it's actually really good. The gameplay is fast, and responsive. The music fits it's atmosphere. The sound effects are great. And the graphics are about as good as it gets right now. And to top it off it is fun.

Very fun game. The action is totally over the top and the pace is great. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this for my Grandson and never got to see him play it. I enjoy all the doom games though so I recommend it.

This game absolutely captures the essence of the original Doom games. If you're a strictly console-based gamer, the FPSs you've played over the last few years will feel like they're sludging through a swamp after a round of Doom. The speed, the attitude, the guns—the game thrusts you back into the PC shooters of the 90s. Such a blast.

Really great game. Stripped of all gimmicks and filler, it's you with guns versus a demobic army. Great level design, amazing music. Fast paced with almost no down time. Rewards exploration and using various weapons. Totally worth a long weekend indoors.

The action is very good and the graphics are topnotch

Everything from the presentation, to the pacing, to the way the weapons and navigation functions, screams retro-shooter. It's an incredibly refreshing change to the normally slow, methodical shooters of the modern era. Sometimes you just want to pick up a gun and shoot some demons. This game lets you do that. Highly recommended.

Campaign mode of the game is really interesting. The graphics and wepons are the best prt of it.

I have to be honest, this is my first Doom game. When I heard great reviews about this game, I just had to play it. The gameplay and graphics are excellent, there's a lot of secrets in this game for you to find, and there's lots of bloody violence for everyone to enjoy. This game is defiantly worth your time.

II love this game. This is the best doom game to come out since its birth. I have played all the doom games. The demons look great in this modern remake. The action is great. I love the fact that they give you so many hidden items to find. Also the secret old school levels with the updated monsters and weaponry is surreal.
