I was very hesitant to jump into Doom, but after a few friends told me they loved it, I decided to give it a shot. Restarting a classic franchise has been more miss than hit lately(poor Duke), so it was only natural to not want to purchase this day one. I got it on sale, and after playing it, would have been happy paying full price. Small short comings, but overall great experience.

A very good game from Bethesda, they never disappoint with their Doom games, I played all of them and they all have been enjoyable experiences.

This game pulls all the stops away!! Nonstop action and the gore is satisfying to the point where you don't get tired of it! The narrative is insteresting and the story is also. Great adrenaline rushes game. Oh and the soundtrack is awesome as well. It contributes to the badassery of it all :)

they overhauled the game and made it into something special. for the multiplayer, not so much

Such an awesome recreation of the first-person shooter that (almost) started it all. From beginning to end, this game is non stop madness, and it's a blast. However, it's not for weak stomach players! Step into the role of the Doom Slayer and you won't want to take yourself away!

This is a fantastic FPS that gets it right. The multiplayer is fun, but the single player campaign is where this game shines. Out of nowhere, Doom has taken the top spot for any FPS I have played in years, and is in my top 5 games of all time. Stop reading and go buy. You wont be disappointed.

This game is an excellent return to what first person shooters used to be. It is action packed with a heavy focus on core gameplay instead of cinema story. Don't get me wrong there is a story and the game is visually amazing it is just pure mega brutal action without all the fluff. It is fun it is intense and it is everything a new game based on an old franchise should be.

I used to play this on my computer but since it is out on the Playstation 4 pro it is so much more enhanced and detailed. I can't wait to complete the game but from what I have played in it so far it is beyond my imagination of how much better it could become!! Thanks Sony!!

Enjoyable single player. Multiplayer is fast and easy to jump into as well.

I was taken back a bit with no reload button, but after that only initial hurdle, I was enjoying every second of this intense, no holds bar, shooter. There was no need to be "Realistic", just plain ole "FUN"! Highly recommend that you grab this and enjoy it to the fullest. Well done game!

I love this version of doom for the same reasons as the original. The game is purely about having fun destroying everyone in your path. The small collectibles add to the depth in a non-imposing way. Overall this game was totally worth it; even more so if you're a doom fan of old.

All I can say is that this game was beyond epic. I've been a doom fan forever and this definitely didn't disappoint me. Smooth combat, super gory, nice graphics and more. The multi player could've been a little better but the campaign more than made up for it alone. A definite buy.

This game is phenomenal and a great successor to the original Doom games. I didn't think the game was cool back in 2016 but I was wrong about the aspect captured in this game. Maybe I was scared but I did feel like the Multiplayer aspect was great

This is classic doom with gorgeous graphics. The fast-paced combat combined with smooth and consistent framerates makes this really enjoyable. I highly recommend using a good pair of headphones to add to the experience, but a nice surround sound system will do the same. Buy this!

Finally, a game that returns to the roots of the original first person shooter. Run and gun! Visually impressive, tight controls, and glitch free gameplay. I haven't played multiplayer, but the campaign gives you just enough of a challenge to dry out your eyes from not blinking.

I remember playing Doom on the PC as a kid and falling in love. Obviously the graphics were terrible compared to games today, but it was a classic and one of the first person shooters. Attempts to recreate that greatness over the years hasn't worked, until now. This version of Doom is the best since the original. Scary, great graphics, and gameplay. Lots of fun!

Being a hardcore Doom fan, I know very well how legendary and badass the original Doom and Doom 2 are. The new Doom returns in a modern way but delivers nostalgia reminiscent of the original games. Words cant describe the badassness of the new Doom, just go out and buy it.

Haven't played this since it was on the computer years ago. I find it to be challenging more so than the battlefield series. I get stuck then ultimately defeat the level. I guess I'm halfway through the game, and am stuck but will get through it this weekend. Glad I got it.
