This game was mostly all hype. I enjoyed it for about a week then it got old quick.

The game is cool to desk destroy a bunch of monsters but just not what I expected

I found myself getting lost often. Quit this game before an hour played.

I was originally unsure about picking up this game after people complained about the beta. I am glad I did though. The multiplayer is actually really awesome! Its basic, quick, bloody and very addictive. I do not understand the negativity against it. The campaign is absolutely amazing. It is very repetitive, but thats what makes it so great. Its satisfying because its so fast paced and violent in a fun way. I highly recommend it! one of my favorite games of all time. If you like this game you should also pick up Wolfeinstein the new order!

I have played so many games but never had an experienced like this one, where I got nauseous the first 2 minutes of playing a video game? It even warns you about this game being sensitive to some people during start up.

I could bore you with features, but I won't. It's a flashback to terminating enemies with superior force. You feel powerful. I'm a fan of the multiplayer where there is no hand-holding and the power-ups are POWERFUL! The single player is great. After playing some other games, I'm tired of story. I want fast paced and stress killers. Great title. The weapons feel powerful. I feel powerful. And that shotgun with the charge mod. Wow!

I was not sure what to expect when buying this version of Doom, except that I loved the old school ones way back in the day, and I absolutely loved the DOOM 3 version several years back on XBOX. So, when I got this one I have to be honest in saying it was not what I expected and I wasn't a huge fan immediately. The gameplay is crazy super fast, it just feels different than a typical shooter. And, one thing that I initially did not like is that you don't reload your gun... ever, unless it is something like a rocket launcher. You either have ammo or you don't.... That said, after a few levels I really got into this game. It is an awesome game, and really fun. I had to get over my pre-conceived notions of how it would be and just play it for what it is... a true to form remake of a classic. This game is a blast. The story is basic but very good, and the overall gameplay is really very good. I would recommend it to anyone. (p.s. Game is extremely gorey, not at all for kids...)

One of my favorite FPS's of the year! Fast paced, beautiful, and challenging!

Played doom since it first came out and I hoped this would be a good game also. It is good but not worth 60. I played the beta and the multiplayer is just like the other shooters but with better guns. Instead of buying it I just rented it and finished the game over the weekend. Cost me 9 bucks. The campaign is fairly long, much longer than cod and eventually I didn't care about the story or really pay attention to it. I rarely replay campaigns and I knew I wouldn't replay it or care for the multiplayer as I have halo and cod for that so for me the rental was the best option. There are a ton of monsters to kill and I loved the chainsaw. Music was good and sound effects great esp when used with my sound system. I did on occasion get slow downs when there was lots of monsters and action going on. Graphics were good. Lots of gore which was great.

I been fan of doom since day 1. This game has far exceeded my expectations. I'm not a campaign player at all I always do multiplayer but with doom it is a MUST to do campaign. These guys at ID do NOT disappoint. Amazing just in complete awe at how great this game is. I have ps4 version too and I don't see a difference in quality of graphics so ID did stand by their word when they said they would make sure to make the game with great visuals across all platforms. This game is a must. Halo/COD/Battlefield/ Medal of honor don't exist today if this game doesn't come out back in the 90s. Go GET THIS!

Not the best story driven game but just a fun chance to blow up demons can get hard and frustrating at times though had to watch the end online couldn't get past last boss fairly short but fun

Went are you wasting time reading this review?! Buy it now! This is seriously one of the best games I've ever played. So much fun. Fast, never boring, challenging, awesome soundtrack, awesome graphics, and gore for days. Perfection.

I love shooters, I have since the days of Wolfenstein on the PC, and when I heard a new Doom was coming out, I was very excited. This game delivers on what it promises. Its a straight forward, non-stop, frantic, action packed shooter. Story? Naw, not so much, but that's not what Doom is about. Doom is about action, and this game has it in spades. Is it for the kids? Certainly not. But I am very much enjoying the mindless action. Definitely worth playing if you're a fan of the original.

Love the campaign , in a time where games are not focusing as much on campaign mode, Doom delivers a great fast pace story. Lots of action , explosions , and fun.
