This game is definitely a good example of throwback gaming. It focuses on fast paced shooting and moving mechanics rather than cover to cover. You need to keep moving otherwise you will get overwhelmed quickly. It is a fun game with limited collectible exploring. There are also original maps thrown in, but you have to search to find them. Overall, it is a fun shooter that you don't have to get super involved in, boot up, run a chapter, then do something else if you want, it doesn't force you to spend hours playing to get through an area.

This is easily one of the most fun FPS games I've played in a very long time. The pace is great and keeps the game moving along and the difficulty is just hard enough to make it a challenge.

This game is amazing for the single player, I grew up watching my dad and his friends playing this game when I was a little guy. This game is very intense, if you don't keep moving you will die, get's the heart and adrenaline pumping, very refreshing in the current game market!

I bought this game because I had some Best Buy points I needed to spend. I'm glad I did. I didn't think I would play it a lot but this game is very fun. I have been playing it for around 3 weeks straight. Awesome graphics, great story line, hard enemies, fun fun fun!

What can I say? Other than this is the best Doom game ever! I played the original when I was a child as soon as it came out, and played almost every single FPS out there since then. Definitely this is a game that should be in your game library.

i really like to play this game on xbox one and i cant wait to play it on my PC with high settings to see how even better the graphics will look using a GTX 1060. The creatures and the glory kills are off the hook. This is truly my kind of game.

Campaign was hella fun! Very well done. Unique way of battle that requires one to always be on the move, be very aggressive, and keep the guns a blazin'. Excellent graphical design -- everything is eye candy. Those new to Doom will love it, but those who are familiar with the franchise with love the homage paid to the games of old. Great replay value -- I plan to run through the campaign multiple times. Have not yet tried multiplayer or snapmap. This is my favorite Xbox One game thus far. Definitely buy if you like FPS games with attitude.

This is a great Doom game. Graphics are great, violence is just like the old school if not better, and you can kill in so many ways, with or without a weapon. If you liked the Old Doom, you should love this one.

One of the better shooters I've ever played in a long while! It's a refreshing "arcade" style, an absolute hoot!. Multiplayer is just alright, but the single player is worth the price alone!

Doom is currently the best FPS game for XBox One due to its amazing gameplay and stellar graphics engine. A must gt for any FPS fan.

A MATURE rated game that brings back the classic First Person Shooter Doom to new audiences. A little reminiscent of the Resident Evil games to me, but a gory battle is what this is about. NOT for younger audiences.

I originally played this game on Xbox back in the day.I definitely enjoyed this revamped version with the new multi player ability...I say this one is a winner !!

This game makes you earn your health and ammo by killing enemies. No regeneration when you have low health. The graphics look amazing as well. Great game!

Fast paced, action packed, no having to aim down sights, and no regenerating health. Breath of fresh air in a world of Call of Duty clones.

I was looking forward to this game for months. It didn't disappoint. Fun and challenging. Very happy with the challenge level choices. Make sure to have motion sickness pills if necessary.
