    Poor performance of installation

    The Oven was damaged during installation. I noticed as soon as the installers left and I was cleaning the fingerprints left on it. Also, the Frigidaire wall oven was "guaranteed to fit with Fridgidaire's special intallation kits and then the installer charged me an additional $75 because he had to cut a bigger whole to get it in the cabinet. Best Buy is having the whole unit replaced and reinstalled 2 months later.

    Prior to purchase, I had Best Buy measure my space and tell me which wall oven would fit. I purchased the GE Profile because it would fit. I paid $199 for installation to Best Buy. The installer said the space is slightly larger and he would have to put a spacer in to raise it up an inch. He then said i had to pay him directly an additional $120 for him to install it. Why should I pay Best Buy for installation in then pay again for installation. I hope Best Buy realizes their customers are being ripped off.

    If I just could give zero star, then I would have. They showed up, opened the items (Microwave-oven combo and a hood), left the Hood in the open area in the back yard, then lied about going to home-depot to get some stuff and be right back. So, they left but did not came back. After a call with BestBuy, they claimed that the kitchen was not ready (another lie). So save yourself money and time,.. find a professional in yelp to do the installation for you which I did,.. it cost me the same (and by the way, they supposed to haul away the old appliances as well, which they didn't).

    installer didn't complete install.

    installer was in a hurry. didn't think oven would fit in existing opening so left. 10 days later,A private installer I hired fit the new oven in with no problem. Installer then told best buy he had completed the work and charged for his visit. After calling best buy, they agreed to not charge for the install and apologized for the inconvenience. The woman helping me on the phone at best buy was very helpful and called the installer directly while I was on the phone. the installer was not helpful or cooperative on the phone. the installer best buy uses should be fired.

    This is not against the installer. Installer could not find a small price of the appliance and said that he has to come back later. Asked me to call and set up another appointment. I called and after 45 minutes on the phone I received the appointment date. I called my sales person to see if the appointment could be confirmed. She checked and reported that no appointment has been set. She gave me another date for ten days later. This company must institute a better system of doing appointments. Not happy at all.

    Oven sitting on the garage floor

    Installation came and gone, oven sitting in the garage on the floor. Had purchased a double oven and Installation team came to the house and reviewed what they were taking out. After they came and no specific details of what needed to be change. Today they came to our house and stated they could not install the new oven. Very frustrating, knowing you had three weeks to inform us of the changes that nneded to be made before you arrived.

    First installation attempt

    I paid to have the correct cutout and platform built, so it was perfect. Installers start out by saying it's not going to fit based on the dimensions on the box. I finally got them to agree to take out of box, and measure. Sure enough the box was wrong and it fit like a charm. Of note is the poorly designed "roller" shelf. It's too tight, and the guys scratched up the inside of my oven reefing on the shelf to get it in. Called best buy and got a new oven, all fine now. PS. put the roller shelf in yourself

    Know nothing delivery crew

    These men unloaded the double oven before they checked my kitchen with the old one in the wall. I had brought all the specs on the old double oven to the salesman when I went to purchase the new one. He assured me that since they were both KichenAid the new one would fit. Well it did not fit and the delivery men would not make the adjustments to get it to fit. Consequently I had to return the oven to Best Buy. Later I went to the kitchen cabinet company which had originally installed my kitchen 30 years ago and I bought the oven from them because they could make the small adjustments to make it fit.

    We had to have the installation rescheduled due to the opening having to be recut for a proper fit and for electrical work. The day of installation the two workers, Jeff and Mike, arrived early and were neat, clean, friendly and were very professional. I highly recommend this company for your installation! They left no mess and were in and out within one hour. Awesome job! Thanks!

    I purchased the oven with installation service. I knew my cabinet opening was a little bigger than oven’s measurements. I called Best Buy prior to my purchase and I was assured that installers will take care of the problem. Not only they didn’t modify the cabinet, they didn’t even give me an opportunity to clean inside the cabinet when the old oven was taken out. Even though I asked three times for it. They left without the screwing the oven in. Lastly, after I expressed my disappointment, they tried to dupe me into signing that I was sutisfied with my services.

    GE Microwave and Oven Combo

    I had a very bad experience of a technician that installed my GE Microwave and Oven Combo. Basically he just installed the whole unit even it was not fitted in properly with only two screws in the Microwave and two screws in the oven. There was a big gap on top and the side of the unit. He even broke part of the wood on the right side of the oven when he tried to force one of the screw in the oven. He told me that's all he can do and he left with the driver.

    Double Ovens do not match other GE products

    The Ovens work great. HOWEVER (and this is a deal-breaker) We purchased 2 other GE Profile black Stainless items (frig and dishwasher). Those two products are the same shade of black stainless. The double ovens are distinctly lighter and obviously do not match the other two products. An attempt to deliver another set of ovens had the SAME problem. Now we are awaiting a soultion, but are not looking forward to yet more uninstalls/installs in our kitchen! But I am not optimistic. It seems GE doesn't HAVE matching black stainless double ovens!

    Oven installation

    Wall oven installation was scheduled for November 11- installers did not show up and we weren’t notified. After I called asking what was going on- customer Service just said it had to be rescheduled. So it was rescheduled for three weeks out and then rescheduled again for four weeks out. Best Buy made no attempt to help us out with an earlier installation date. I sent an email to the Geek Swuad manager- no reply received. I just want our appliances installed.

    There was no installation done at all. The crew that delivered the oven did not install it. They claimed the whip was not long enough to reach the electrical outlet at the bottom and the electrical outlet had to be moved. In fact the 4' whip was long enough. I ended up installing it myself. Your installation was not able to adapt to different installation conditions.

    It's been sitting in it's box in our breakfast room for a month awaiting installation! When the ovens were delivered and the old ovens were removed, the space was 1/8" inch too small and installers said we'd have to cut down the sides. (BTW, a little sandpaper allowed us to increase the space 1/16" on each side.) Installation rescheduled four times -- and we're still waiting. SO FRUSTRATED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THIS ITEM!

    Incorrectly wired

    SHORT VERSION OF THIS SAD STORY 1. Installer left without testing oven. It would not heat. 2. The tech who was supposed to come look at it, called and diagnosed it over the phone. Defective, oven had to be replaced. 3. The tech who came to uninstall the oven discovered that one leg of the 220 was not connected. Bare wire in the wall box. There was nothing wrong with the oven. 4. Still waiting on Best Buy to refund my money.

    It gets very hot around the oven installed as always installers blame the manufacturer and the manufacturer blames the installer. We watch carefully to avoid get burnt.

    The contact company gouged us on the "custom" work to get the oven installed. Then we were pressured to provide a 5 star review back to their company. Very, very unprofessional.

    Double Oven Installation was an extra charge

    When the installation team came to install our double oven, they said they needed to cut an additional 1/4" from the sides and that we would have to pay $150 with cash or a check on the spot. When Best Buy said installation was FREE, we had no idea it wouldn't really be FREE. Very disappointing. They did a fine job installing it, but we weren't happy about having to pay an additional $150 which wasn't part of the original purchase.
