I had $2,000 wall oven installed in my home by a Best Buy licensed professional in October of 2020. In May of 2021, just seven months later, a burned wire smell emanated from the oven, and it stopped producing heat. I contacted Frigidaire support since they cover their appliances for 12 months and they sent out a technician to assess the problem. They determined that it was installed incorrectly by Best Buy and was in fact a legitimate fire hazard and needed to be reinstalled correctly which, unfortunately for me, was not covered under Frigidaire's 12-month warranty. I was advised to contact Best Buy to have the installation corrected and, after waiting on hold for well over an hour, I was informed that their installation was only covered by warranty for three months, even though there are many situations where problems stemming from a faulty installation do not show up until much later. So Best Buy refused the opportunity to fix their mistake that literally could have burned my house down and, instead, simply offered me a 10% discount to help me pay for their second attempt to do the job correctly. I told them “No, thank you” and that if I was going to have to pay for their mistake that I would rather pay someone else rather than reward Best Buy for their poor installation, service and support. I know Best Buy will be just fine, but I will certainly never buy another appliance from them. I just wanted to share in case this experience helped anyone else make a decision.

Seemed to be a good value for replacing a 30 year old Kitchen Aid double oven that was 27". Most ovens today are 30" so there was not a lot of choice. Was disappointed that the bottom racks were not on ball bearings like the 30" oven. Only the 30" ovens were on display so you need to carefully read the specs for the 27" oven because they are not the same as you might expect. The lighting systems inside are also not the same. It had t be special ordered and we were told it would take 6-8 weeks to come in. We have not received it yet, so I cannot comment on its operation. Just get the sales person to compare the specs between the two for you so you know what you are getting.
