No longer a Best Buy customer do not let them inst

The installers came in and told me I had the wrong size oven that I waited 8 months for. They told me that my brand new cabinets that I installed in my kitchen had to be cut into in order for it to fit. They were complete unknowledgeable technicians they were measuring the front of the unit as opposed to the insert of it. Again do not let them touch or hook up anything of yours. I am thankful that I did not let them install it God only knows how it would have turned out. I hired a contractor and he just laughed and said he hears about it all the time. FYI no cabinet had to be cut and it fit flawlessly from the specifications of my contractors cabinet making.

I ordered this product back in February to be installed in June. I was told to call and reschedule and I did so. Well then the oven still wasnt in stock to get installed. I did this song and dance several times. Once installed the product itself is great.

Samsung oven/micro wall install

It is not the installers fault but our salesperson who did not advise appropriately. We had to chase down a supervisor many times for help. Very disappointing.

They didn’t have any blankets or padding to protect the oven or surroundings. I rushed around to provide material for them. They struggled in lifting it, struggled in aligning it, struggled in plugging it in, struggled in securing it. In their wake, they scraped my new hardwood floors and new kitchen cabinets, bent my new oven in the process, then left me with $150 extra trim work to do after the oven stuck out 1” from the cabinets. My contractor and flooring guy were both astonished at how ugly their installation was, as was I. We complained to Best Buy, and they refunded the installation but refused to compensate for damage and repairs needed. Beware, terrible.

Epic Fail x3 - Never Installed the Wall Oven.

Delivered wrong item on 12/20, reschedule correct item install on 1/10/2022. It was a no show and no call. Tried to reschedule but Best Buy policy is to put you to the end of the line, next available install - which was March of 2022, not fair since it was a Best Buy error. Scheduled Delivery for 1/18/2022, no show again. Rescheduled for 1/21, item was delivered. Purchased with cash on 10/27/2021. Poor service and many missed promises. Horrible experience. Had to pay someone else $300 to complete the install.

Innovative Freight Systems-Do NOT use!

The top Convection oven is not working, light and fan are staying on. Ten minutes after leaving our home we noticed the top oven was not working. We called and asked them to come back and get it working correctly. They said to call Best Buy to get it serviced. Best Buy said they could not come out for a week! Innovative Freight Systmes could care less about customer service. I will never use them again and highly recommend Best Buy or anyone getting an appliance installation to stay away from this company.

Polite and professional, lack expertise

Unfortunately, they only do a bare minimum install. If there is anything unusual or the slightest bit challenging about the install, they can't complete it. We felt the cost was high for the value.

Extremely poor customer service

Delivery and installation set for 19 days after purchase...seemed long but we waited patiently. Day of delivery/install We get a call from installer to say that the new oven we had ordered was damaged in the box so... no delivery or install for us. We were told to call store for new delivery/install date and were told that we would have to wait another 19 days for delivery/install and that that was the best they could do. Had a previous experience with Best Buy on a new refrigerator that took 5 delivery attempts spanning 5 weeks to finally get a frig that wasn't bent beyond recognition, so... we canceled our order. In my opinion this was a total failure once again by the fulfillment aspect of Best Buys organization.

Terrible-installation

After the oven was finally delivered, it ws not installed. Then the installer left a mess in my kitchen. He called to say he would be at my home in 30 minutes. Two hours later is parked in from of my home for 30 minutes before ringing my door bell. He went to his truck several times and had 30 minute phone calls. He left his dolly and several tools in my house. Movrover he did not do the installation correctly. I called and reported the problem and Best Buy sent another person to correct and complete the installation.

The first two times nobody showed up and nobody called. I waited a total of 14 hours between both appointments. The third time, after over 5 hours waiting, a team of two showed up. They did a great job of installing the oven/microwave. However, due to the unacceptable performance, or lack thereof, I will never buy anything from Best Buy that includes installation. They have no concern for the customer and probably don't even know the meaning of "customer service". I know Best Buy management will not read this review and I will never hear from them.

Poor/no installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oven was delivered, opening was about 1/2 of an inch to big on sides, although the new oven measured the same as the older oven it wasn't a true 24inches and the side trim pieces were not as wide. Cabinet oak so had to cut and place a piece of trim on each side. Installers were going to just leave the oven, we insisted hook to power to make sure it worked. Which they did. After they left my husband and I had to take the oven doors off to put all the trim on. I feel I need to be credited for the installation cost, all that was done other then upsetting me was they did take the older unit.

Poor customer service

Had to ask for them to put masks on. While he argued, his partner laughed at the conversation. I was told I would have to sign a waiver, if they wear booties and I would be liable if they get hurt. I told them I had several appliances installed through BB and never had any issue. When I denied the install he said he had to get manager approval. He came back and said his manager said it’s okay to wear booties. Due to COVID, these precautions should be practiced voluntarily. I should t have to out up a fight.

Oven installation

Therefore the install did not take place. The store manager Gabreal lied to me about the length of the conduit that comes with the oven. He said there is only one 40" conduit that is included, it turns out that the oven comes with two conduits from GE a 40" and a 54" conduit. When I confronted him about this he did NOT care, and did not offer an apology for the wrong information. This person needs to be moved to a area were will NOT interface with the public!

Wall oven install

The Best Buy representative measured incorrectly so the first installers were unable to install, the second installers although were supposed to do the carpentry work to get the job done did not come prepared, the third installers finally got it done and did a beautiful job.

I was not informed there would be over $500 of additional charges at the discretion of the installer like Best Buy washed their hands of anything once the sale was completed.

BestBuy needs to improve installation services

When the team came to install the oven they found out the electrical connection had to modified before the oven could be installed. They provided a company recommended electrician. We paid for his service call but he told us he had to be there when they installed the new oven. When we called the store and told them we needed them to help us with the installation he told us it was our issue to understand how to install the oven and coordinate the installation. We worked with the install team, electrical & installed the oven 3 weeks later. They did a great job and were helpful

INSTALLER NOT QUALIFIED

(after 8 p. ) They were supposed to arrive between 5-8 pm. I was told I was the last stop. The techician was not an electrician and advised he was not qualified to install the unit. Since it took several months for the unit to come back into stock, I took delivery. I have to find someone to install the unit that is qualified. My dissapointment is that I was advised that the installer would be qualified. I am now in a long line trying to contact Best Buy to receive a refund for installation charges and haul away charges.
