Dragon Age: Veilguard Deluxe

I'm about 20 hours into it and I hate to stop when it's time to go to work. Good storyline, great epic battles, just a good time!

Great standalone, decent part of the series

The combat is engaging but not overly complicated. The storyline is engaging, if occasionally superficial. The graphics are beautiful. There is very poignant points. Definitely worth replaying again and again to make different decisions.

As a stand-alone game it's okay, and the gameplay itself is a lot of fun. Just wish the people who made this had realized that four games into the series the players are obviously here for the story.

But I know he's really excited to play this and getting a special edition will make it even better.
