Nice memories of Dragon Ball’s battle game. If you are a Dragon Ball’s fan you must get it.

Verry adicting gameplay you can play various missons with friends or by your self tons o costomzation options including sayian class namakians majins and humans all have strenths and weekness great for fans of dbz and newcomers to the series new story with a twist idont want to spoil any thing though create your own charcter or choose fro m over 80 charcters from dbz and dbs best dbz game in my opinion

This game has practically every character in the history of the Dragonball Universe... Excuse me... XENOVERSE. It has hours upon hours of storylines to explore and is a game you won't soon tire from. A great game for the PS4, Xbox One, or Switch.

First Dragon Ball game I have played but I had a lot of fun with this. I am a trophy away from platinum 100% completion... which was a unique grind... The combat took me a long time to get good at, but I was never good at fighting games. After a ton of play time I did get a very good control of the game which enlightened me to how well it was actually designed. Dragon Ball fans will all enjoy the story line of the game play and those who enjoy fighting style games will take even more enjoyment with the fluid combat. The online features in my opinion were very poor. There is no online co-op for story related missions but there are 100 quests and 17 expert missions you can do with teams of 3 and 6 respectively... Honestly I think it's best to do all of these solo with AI generated teammates which disappointed me veRyan bad at first and I think most of the community would agree. As for online versus matches, that's not my thing... but I would bet it is very very good for those who enjoy player versus player.

Excellent graphics and cool story mode. Still not fully used to the button mechanism but I’m learning.

Having never played Xenoverse 1, I was a bit worried the learning curve would be too big to overcome, or I would just be downright lost(you can even import your existing character from Xeno1), but I'm so pleasantly surprised that's not the case! Xenoverse 2 delves into DBZ territory and transitions all the way through Super. I was also worried, as an offline player, the gameplay would be limited, but again, I was wrong! As far as I can tell, I'm still getting to navigate through the main story line and there is no shortage of things to do. The game takes place in Conton City, where you get to be your own new character as a time patroller! Following orders and instruction from the Supreme Kai of Time and Elder Kai, you get to right the wrongs of the discrepancies of some of the greatest events and battles throughout Dragon Ball history. You get to fight along side some of the best, and can even chose your instructor(don't expect Vegeta to take too kindly to you at first!). The whole premise of the game is just really cool and there's always somewhere to go, or someone to see... Whether it's battles, side missions, training, collecting supplies, or even just helping out your fellow Z fighters. Now, here's where the 4 stars come into play... The game play in battle can get a bit repetitive. Sure you can train to learn these awesome 20 button combos, when you're fighting Frieza AND Cooler at the same time those long, multi-button combinations kind of go out the window and you just stick to your few tried and true. The navigation of the actual game can be a bit confusing at times and you truly just have to 'figure it out' because there's little to no instruction when it comes to that. But honestly, if you're a fan, you have come to love and accept that the Dragon Ball universe has it's own logic and is just plain confusing at times. The background music in your main map, Conton City, is Dreadful to the ear!! Lol. Go to settings and change it... Immediately!! So, even though the gameplay at times can get a little repetitive and stagnet which may leave you turning it off that particular day, after you've slept on it, you find yourself wanting to come back for more the next day! That's a good thing! Solid game with awesome graphics. Voices of the characters are spot on as well!

This game is amazing. First of all anyone who has followed DBZ since the beginning whether it be the original runs or the re-runs in the 90s will LOVE this game. Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 are DBZ games that are the most unique of their kind because for once this is not just a DBZ game where you fight...This game enables you to create your own character from different classes (Majin, Frieza Race, Human or Sayain) and it allows you to use different moves from all the different characters throughout the Dragon Ball story. This is the first REAL Roleplaying game for the DBZ game series and Xenoverse 2 is the absolute best. Great gameplay through story mode and plenty of content and other battles through training and parallel quests (which is story mode style but not quite story mode) AND the online play is amazing. I definitely recommend this!

Alot of content its fun to play and unlocking a lot of new characters.

This game got me feeling a deep need to watch Dragon Ball Super. Now I can't wait for each new episode, so nostalgic, I feel like a kid again! This game was a pleasant surprise, after hearing such bad reviews of the first game I hopped into this one feeling skeptical. The beta seemed like great fun to me though and I really wanted to see how the game itself turned out. I was NOT disappointed! The fighting is quite technical, much better than most fighting games nowadays. So many characters to choose from or create your own with a plethora of moves to choose from and unlock! This game will not dissappoint!

This game is awesome!! Improved gameplay, graphics and story.. If you have the perevious DBZ XV, you can carry one of your previous created hero to this game.. This includes all its clothes, gadgets, ultimate attacks and super attacks will be carried over.. Anything that cannot be carried over, will be converted to Z points.. In addition, if you choose to carry over your previous fighter, you will be surprise towards the end of the story mode - before you face final form Mira.. Choose wisely!! vjbf12

I bought the first Xenoverse a bit late during a random psn sale. I had enjoyed it for the most part but, found the controls frustrating at times. I was hesitant on buying xenoverse 2 but, for $25 during the bf sale I figured why not.. Sooo glad I bought this game. I was not able to put it down from the time I received it. The story is great, tthe controls felt a lot better to me and I just really enjoyed playing it. If you are a fan of dbz you need to get this game.

I have played a lot of different DBZ games hoping they would be good and this is the first one I can really say is awesome. I enjoy the story. I like the transformations. The customization is awesome. Also if you like DBZ Xenoverse 1 then this basically improves upon that game in everyway. It's so great to play a Saiyan and be able to Kaoken, SS 1, SS 2, SS 3.... So awesome to have no eyebrows and huge hair as SS 3. Golden Frieza. Pure Form Kid Buu. Namekian giants! It's just awesome. I would play a Saiyan though since SS 3 doesn't require stamina or anything so you can stay as SS 3 the entire fight vs Kid Buu for instance drains stamina and you eventually get kicked out of it. My only complaint is that the story should be co-op! It would make it way more fun since Parallel Quests are okay, but they can get pretty stale since a lot of them have bad rewards. I enjoyed the story though. You can really identify with your character and you feel a part of the universe as a Time Patroller.

I have the first one for ps4 and liked it. Always liked dbz and the characters. Its like be a big kid. Its fun and cool even at 31yrs of ago. Haven't played it yet but plan to

My son received this game as a reward. He could have picked any game, but he picked this one. He has been playing it every minute that he is allowed to play

this was a cheap xmas gift. I did play the first one, really enjoyed the combat system and story. I'll give this one a shot once it's opened xmas day.

Amazing visuals. Great progression and story. It really makes you feel like you part of the Z Figthers. Must have For Dragon Ball fans.
