This is the best DBZ game they have put out, the combat takes a little bit to get used to but once you do it is fantastic. You can create your own character, choosing from a variety of races. The combat is excellent and there's a story that surprisingly isn't that bad to it. You can mix and match your gear/skills to figure out a style that works best for you. Fantastic game!

So I'm going to try and condense this review as much as possible because there is quite a bit of information to process. Xenoverse looks to be the most complete DBZ cannon timeline game thus far. All the scans and videos I've seen suggest a total manga experience which means ALOT of the movies will be incorporated into the story mode. Speaking of which there is a single player story mode in which your very own custom z fighter takes center stage in a battle with a time altering nemesis. The quest mode is where you and a team of two other players can take on missions and complete epic raids. And the vs, or what I like to call the Budokai mode, where you can challenge your friends and strangers alike in up to three on three duels. All modes grant experience from what I've seen, which levels up your character, also there will be no controller destroying beam struggles, if two special attacks collide in battle the one thrown by the stronger fighter will win. Three DLC packs have also been confirmed with loads more attacks and costumes for your z fighter, plus fan fav gt characters! All in all this makes for one of the most badass DBZ games in a good while. Also it's dubbed in English so there's that too, no subtitles yay!!

I bought this game mostly for my little brother since he is a huge DBZ fan. He loves it. I have played a couple times and I have to say this game I so much fun. Leveling up and the plenty time patrol as well as story missions is astounding. There is so much to do and the character customization is awesome.

This is the best DBZ game to date. The action is fast and you cam make a customized character!! The game alone has some control issues but if you are a DBZ fan just get it!

The fighting is tight, complex, and different for each character. There are RPG and MMO elements. This is everything I wanted!

Fantastic game, so much to do, nice and challenging, great 1 v 1 combat! However the combat control is very frustrating at times...if that could be improved this game would be perfect. This is for true DBZ fans!

A great super fast and very confusing fighting game that just catches the essence of Dragonball Z. I Have not yet been able to go online and meet anyone it seems like this is the game that all Dragonball Z fans have been waiting for. The movement in the social area feels a bit dull and jumping seems to get you no where any quicker than you would have gotten there just walking. The actual fighting system, however, feels smooth and any mistake made or Kamehameha you don't avoid will. I feel like its 6AM again watching channel 13 before school. It doesn't seem like a great story but I found it was a great way to make something new out of the old. The different scenarios of the classic battles fought will surely entertain any fan. Go buy it now!

When I was looking to buy this game I wanted to relive my glory days of Budokai and Tenkaichi on the PS2..Unfortunately this game completely threw out everything I loved about my old-time favorites. Xenoverse attempts to bring in the MMORPG element you see in games like Destiny without proper servers. I managed to snag this game on day one however I was not able to play multiplayer until a week later. There is very little to do in the game after you complete the storyline, although it is the main plus of the game. Not really worth a buy IMO but any DBZ fan should play through it at least once.

This game is awesome. The story mode is great, lots of my favorite characters appear and most of the voices are pretty good. I've only played a couple online matches so I don't have much to say about that yet.

For me this is the best dragon ball z game. allowing you to create your character and play the story missions is very enjoyable. also the graphics look clean.

If you are a fan you will love this game, includes everything from the show a fan would love. Excellent gameplay, visuals and next gen powered by Ps4/Xbox1 along with last gen. Worth every cent.

Finally a DBZ fighting game for the PS4, didn't get it at launch, but after a price drop and glad to finally get my hands on it.

All the dragon ball games I played are terrible, this is the best so far I played and hooked into it. The xenoverse server is still down but awesome game

Fun game. I fniished the story in about a week. It's hard at times, but the storymode is somewhat short, but that didn't bother me. I bought the season pass to enjoy some more. I have been a DBZ fan since I was a kid, so to me this game is a must have for me. Even though I don't play it as much as I used to, I like to know that I have just to throw it in whenever I feel like getting some DBZ in me. The coolest part for me was that you can create your own Super Saiyan and costumize your attacks.

good game but after a while it gets pointless after a few missions thats what i mean a while.

This game is pretty fun for the ability to customize a character and what the shows unfold around them!

Very original story and refreshing way to jump back into the Dragonball World.

This is the best DBZ i ever played in awhile since budokai series. Would highly recommend it!

I am a huge DBZ fan, so this was a definite buy for me. Fun and awesome game overall.
