The lamp came broken

Major Improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the first game -- and anything Dragon Warrior/Quest -- and this game is far better. The graphics are better, you don't lose everything every chapter, etc, and the removal of your tools breaking down after use is just a godsend. Having a constant companion along for the ride is also a great addition, even if it does foreshadow an obvious "twist" in the story. Some of the conversations do get annoying with the typical Dragon Quest 'accents' and silliness, but overall, it's just a great game and a great addition to the Dragon Quest series -- Builder or otherwise!
