Great remake of PS2 game

A great revamp

There were a lot of quality of life improvements to modernize the games, such as seeing enemies on the map, versus random battles (a MASSIVE improvement). I would highly recommend it.

Great for those getting into DQ

It's a good entry point into the series. I missed out on the PS2 version, but I would say the additional content added to 3DS version makes up for it.
