Love the series and especially how this one is so much like 8. Having actual voices instead of just script is a nice change of pace.

Dragon Quest XI is another excellent installment in one of the most consistently great RPG series. It doesn’t add much new to the genre, but instead delivers a fairly simple yet compelling assortment of the genre’s most finely tuned mechanics. If you like classic JRPGs, this is the game for you.

This is a great JRPG i would definitely recommend. 40 + hours great story and characters and the game play is awesome.

I had a blast playing Dragon Quest. Easily my favorite JRPG of the year and perhaps my favorite game this year. It has traditional JRPG elements and adds a lot of quality of life aspects the previous games didn't have. I'd recommend this for anyone who enjoys RPGs or is looking to try one.

Pretty good game. Decent story. Gameplay is your typical turn base RPG. Nothing new but it does it so well.

Dragon quest always been a good series but this one is lives up to the series! This game is absolutely worth every penny and time great story and it’s good for new and old jrpg players, you feel at home with this game if you’re familiar with the franchise.

Such an amazing game. My last DQ game wasDragon Quest VIII on ps2. When I heard there was a new one on PS4 I jumped on it and it didn’t disappoint. Game plays amazing and looks fantastic. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for fun jrpg or someone who loved DQ VIII on ps2

I am enjoying this game, it's fun, with an engaging story. It is turn based, and the world is not all that open. Wait time while screens are loading is not too long. There is no way to skip some of the longer scenes. The characters/equipment level up quickly enough that most regular battles are not very challenging. Some of the boss battles can get a little tricky. I have been playing this game for almost a month (over 100 hours), and have not completed it yet.

The Dragon Quest is one of the longest running series of Japanese RPG. I am glad they've chosen to stick with the tried-and-true turn- based battle. The story is intriguing and the world is immersive. If you have a PS4, this game is strongly recommended for any j-RPG fans. :)

If you were a fan of dq9 then you'll likely enjoy this as well. Sure its not the switch version with the extra content and port of the 3ds version and this version on the same cart. But for the price it is definitely worth a purchase.

I highly recommend if you have ever loved a DQ game, the feel is right, the soundtrack is great, my only problem is that the battles are turn based but dont cut away to battle scenes like the rpgs of old. Not a big deal but for a retro fan like me I thought it was worth mentioning!

This game is simply awesome. I logged in over 100 hours to complete it. Best DQ game in years. The post game can add another 20-40 hours so i hear so I've put it down for now to get to other games. The dialogue is wonderful, characters are great, and the world is beautiful.

This next game in the series as they reintroduce to new systems is just as fun as the originals I remember, and a nice 'follow up' to the game released a couple years ago. Fully independent game, but if you've played before, the feel and controls should be instantly familiar.

This was my first every dragonquest game experience. I enjoyed it and could tell that there were probably some recurring themes that were done more so for fans of the series like enemy designs and what not but still a fun game all around. I can't compare it to any of the other games but for anyone who is not familiar with the series I say give it shot. It's a fun turn-based RPG which are the kind of games I am a big fan of in the past.

If you are a fan of the deeper story-lines with ample side-quests and mini-games present in the JRPGs of the past, then DQ9 is worth every penny. The story telling is a solid take reminiscent of the Breath of Fire series along with the quintessential DQ humor and puns.

An excellent entry into anyone's JRPG collection, Dragon Quest XI will have you wondering why more of the series hasn't made its way to consoles. It manages to capture the spirit of genre classics with memorable locations, engaging explorative elements, and fun combat.

This JRPG, whether your 1st or one of many, will teignite your interest in this genre. This game is perfect in all areas, unless you like pong, then you’ll love this one in your playlist. Very addictive. Free to play games need to stop, this is a conplete experience.

Luckily you can turn it down. IF you choose to. I turned it down to about a 4 out of 10. I found the game to be a lot less annoying when i did that. I'm very impressed with the visuals... the gameplay is so so... not sure if i should say it lacks depth... OR say it is what it is... simple... but fun. I put about 6 hours in... i haven't beaten the game... but i came to the conclusion the game was worth buying. Fun factor to me is all that matters. So... i gave it 4 out of 5.

Good game. Good story. Lots to do. If you enjoy the series you will like this game.
