Back to the basics, this is all I love about old school rpg’s but with a fresh coat of paint. If you like old school rpg’s, this is a no brainer

This is probably my favorite of the series. It's a great old school RPG. If you like previous dragon quest games this one does all of the things you love about the previous dragon quest games.

If you are a fan of the Dragon Quest series, or just older traditional JRPGs then this is probably the best one, the graphics are stunning! And gameplay is what youd expect out of this series.

I'm glad that they had the voice over, but it sucks for Japan that you have to read the subtitles since the Japanese version does not have voices.

I highly recommend this game if you are into role-playing games or adventure games. The story is great and I have probably put in way too many hours of play time.

Definitely a game that is worth playing. There is a switch version coming out so if you have a switch I would wait to get that version since it has more content and features.

Happy with the purchase. I thought it was going to be bad. I was surprised how good it was and played very nice on PS5

Got this for a great price but it would be worth it even at full price. Beautiful and fun RPG. The Dragon Quest series has always delivered and it’s delivered another great game here.

This is becoming my favorite DQ game of all time. I have played every console game since DQ I. You must play this game if you're a fan of the series or new to the series but like JRPGS.

Captivating story... if you're familiar with Dragon Quest, you won't be disappointed. If this is your first time trying the series, it will be a great choice!

If it's an option the Switch version is a better buy but either way don't miss on of the best entries in this series and one of the best JRPG's of all time imo.

Its nice to have square release a good old school rpg. I have missed this series, and I'm glad it's back. If you enjoy the jprgs of the ps2 era, then you'll fall in love with this one.

This game would be in consideration for game of the year on the ps4 if not for God of war and Spiderman. Its a great all around game and a must have JRPG for all who love the genre.

Dragon Quest XI is a delightful return to JRPG form. It blends old school mentality with modern conventions to feel wonderfully nostalgic while also feeling fresh and new.

The first DQ game on PS4 and it's one of the best games of 2019! If you love JRPG, this is a must play game! You will not be able to stop playing it when you start!

Playing it now. Never played a DQ game before. And so far, about 30 hours in, and I can't put it down. I am really loving it. 11 games in... Have I been living under a rock?!?

Great graphics, classic gameplay, beautiful locations, personality-filled monsters, and some really good vignettes round out the first console entry in the series since 8 on the PS2.

While 8 still stands as my favorite Dragon Quest game (and JRPG of all time), 11 is still very much a worthwhile addition to the franchise. It's gorgeous and the combat is a ton of fun. I'm not a huge fan of the MIDI soundtrack and why they decided to do that in the first place is BEYOND me. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the title.

I was gonna wait for the Switch version, but I couldn’t resist and had to get this. I don’t regret it for a second. Fantastic RPG. Amazing graphics with and old school gaming feel.
