Great example of jrpg....story shallow though

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love almost any square enix games and this one is no exception.The fighting being turn based and not random remind me of simpler games of a bygone era including but not limited to dragon warrior itself.The story on the other hand is a bit disjointed and becomes a bit of a chore to keep going in any meaningful direction.I end up fighting,boat run,camp,build items,sleep,repeat..The characters are a bit slapstick comical with no realized dramatics except for generic evil destroys innocents scenario to bounce off of causing them to be a bit one dimensional...might as well be fighter,mage,cleric,thief...but all criticisms aside ,its still fun for nostalgia purposes and the animation sprites are well drawn and come to life in an entertaining, for the most part, type of adventure..

Classic JRPG Experience

Beautiful character designs and good story. will last you 40-50 hours or longer depending on what you are looking to get from the game.
