Great Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dragon Quest is a magical series. The game can be jumped into with no prior exposure to the series. I took one star off because the ps4 version is missing content that the Switch version has, which would be fine if you could even get the missing content. As of the end of 2019 there is no way to buy that content for the ps4 version, so if you own a switch consider buying the Switch version.

Classic RPG Style

If you’re into leisure with the sticks, focus on story, and throwback RPG style this is the game. I’m enjoying it, a great break from the more stressful style of newer RPG styles.

Many of the classic elements of turned based play and character development are present with enough newer things to keep everything fresh.

It follows the traditional formula of past games in the series, but now with beautiful animation possible due to newer technology.

The length of this game is impressive and for that alone it is worth every penny yet along all the great twists in the story. A must have!!!!
