One of the best in the series

If you're a fan of traditional turn-based RPGs great storytelling and character development than this is the game for you even if this is your first Dragon Quest game it's worth giving a try

Average game, too slow for me

Echoes of a Different Age (of Gaming)

But, it plays like a JRPG from the 90s. You might be looking for that. If so, go for it. But as somebody who used to enjoy that style of play it wore even on me.
