This great JRPG. Classic turn based combat with a good story. All the nostalgic Dragon Quest elements from Slimes to character customizations with skill points earned from each level up.

Only played a couple hours. Same Dragonquest with new format. Graphics aregood. A lot of storyline so far as well. I like variations and ability to switch formats.

Classic series with classic gameplay. Game has some good twists and turns. The only reason why the game is not 5 star is because the battle music will drive you nuts by 2 hours in

I must admit that I have not played many games in the DQ series. I have played the original NES and the 3DS (and briefly the PS2 entry). I thoroughly enjoyed the characterization of this game's world, and found the narrative enjoyable as well.

I bought this game as I have been a fan of the Dragon Quest entries. This one did not disappoint. The story-line is interesting, and it is hilarious at times. I do not use the additional 2D option much but it is fun to be able to switch in between. Highly recommend it.

DQ 11 is a great game, but the Switch version really is the definitive one to get. The option for 2d graphics is awesome as well as the choice of different soundtracks and "hard mode" options. Add the ability to play on the go and it's a must own on Switch.

Begin weird flex: I own every North American Sega, Nintendo, Atari, and Philips game systems there are. I love retro games and this one really embodies everything I wanted from a classic JRPG. It perfects the formula and I could not be happier with my purchase.

I've been playing this series since the 80s. It was my first RPG on Nintendo. I like the fact you can play 2D or 3D, gives it that retro feel then you can switch to 3D during your story (there are restrictions though). A must buy

I bought the PS4 version not really paying attention that the switch version was going to be the “improved” version, by that it includes the Jp voice track for those who like that and of course added features that the PS4 doesn’t have.

It may not be the prettiest but it sure is the best. It had 2 ways to play 3D mode or 2d top down mode like the older games. 4/5

Fun game :) i love it a lot and so does my girlfriend. The story is very interesting, and has such a good path. I don't want to spoil anything, but some things you expect, and others you don't. Awesome value.

This game looks good and has a lot of charm. It is easy to get into . There is also so much thinfs to do in it. Worth it.

The game brings back memories of the old days of PS2 and Nintendo U. Kept me busy during the pandemic times.

Follows the successful formula of a classic JRPG but greatly improved visuals even a classic 2D mode to bring back childhood gaming memories. Engaging characters and story line makes you want to keep playing. Overall a lot of fun.

I don't really play jrpg's that much anymore, but this was a fun game. Would definitely recommend this game to people.

It's been a while to play Japanese RPG game. I was a big fan of it when I was young. I feel like it's time to revisit J-RPG, and chose this game. Never regret. It reminds me of the memories in my childhood.

This game is amazing. I ended up trying the demo and loved it. Than all my progress was transferred to the game which was a pro. I can't believe I waited this long to try Dragon Quest.

I didn't have the opportunity to play the game, but I have seen my brother enjoyed, and even tho I haven't seen all it has to offer, the story seems so interesting and unique.
