First game I tried out from the Dragon Quest series, and definitely won’t be the last if they’re as good as this game!

I'm over 100 hours in and Its ok, a bit slow though at times. Art style is more cartoony than final fantasy, and enemies designs tend to be silly or cute. I knew that going in so it wasnt an issue for me. Play the free demo first, its about 5-10 hours worth of the actual game, and your progress is 100% transferable to the main game. Its worth a shot even if you didn't like a previous installment in the franchise.

Turn base fights. Getting better gear and progressing through the story line this game has it all. The story may be a little slow but I pickup and majors We want to know more. The fighting system might be a little old fashion but I have always liked it that way. Free camera when fighting is useless feature. What makes this game Even old school is you can changes the graphics to old 16 bit graphics and play the game that way.

Gameplay, characters, story.....dragon quest has it all. The "post" game content is better than most games altogether. If you are a fan of RPGs you owe it to yourself to pick this game up.

this was my intro to the series. its a pretty classic jrpg. ive gotten pretty far, and ill be finishing this one. and ill definitely be checking out more of the other games as well.

This is the perfect rpg for the Nintendo switch. Even if you’re not familiar with the dragon quest realm, you can pick this up and play. Love it.

My son wants this game for Christmas. He is really good at picking games. I love pre-ordering games from Best Buy. I have pre-ordered a lot games for Christmas. Best Buy is great!

This game brings the excitement of old Middle Ages to life. Very easy to learn and to adjust to its environment. I highly recommend this game for any level of play.

This is a great game, whether PS4 or switch, but switch has special play modes in the old school style which is amazing. If you like old school dragon quest, you can't go wrong.

Old school JPRG, if you're into straight up turn based rpg then this game is for you. Don't expect anything innovative or crazy. This game sticks to the roots

This game reminds me of Dragon Warrior. I haven’t got to far on the game. It is fun has decent storyline. I should start seeing better equipment to buy. So far so good.

I'm not a big rpg fan but I love this game art style is a Japanese Pixar film Run great on switch and it's big but not to big All around a good time

Super fun so far, I’ve been playing the demo and I can tell this is going to be a fun game. The combat is fun and fast, plus there are so many colorful characters!

This game is a masterpiece, and it sets a new high standard for not only the series, but console RPGs in general.A must-have for all Switch owners.

Probably one of the best Dragon Quest games to date since Dragon Quest VIII.

Rab is one of my favorite modern video game characters. It was a heck of a lot of fun to play as an old, morbidly obese guy in funny clothes.

Great game. It’s definitely worth the price and the ability to play on the go
