Would recommend to anyone who enjoyed Xenoblade or Octopath Traveler. Minor downgrades visually but many quality of life improvements that more than make up for it.

Great game that has finally come to the Nintendo Switch. It includes a bunch more than the PS4 including a retro styled version of the game. Highly recommended

This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. Please buy it, you won't regret (unless you don't like old school JRGPs).

Best game from Dragon Quest saga. This game i sunk so many hours into and would have no problem of replaying it.

A very high quality JRPG! Reminds me of classic jrpgs from the old days, but has lots of features that make it fun for a modern day audience.

You'll wanna have to partition your time out through the day to play this game, it's very fun and you will spend hours playing it.

Overall, I liked this game enough to beat it. There were some cool story plots. . .but there were also some really stupid and tedious bits. It's also a long game (something like 70 hours before I got to the end). I think they EASILY could have cut out 10-20 hours and had a better game. There's a lot of level up grinding. On the default setting, it's actually pretty easy. I didn't die at all until about 45 hours in to the game. The developers ramp up the difficulty by taking away things you earned (weapons, spells, hit points, magic points, and other characters) as well as creating monsters/bosses that can kill party members with one hit, moreso instead of making more intelligent/powerful enemies in many places. That gets very old in my opinion. Overall, you could do a lot worse than this game, but if you don't like grinding Japanese style RPGs, there's nothing here that I think would change your mind.

Great game, very entertaining. Its available on all consoles and pc. Currwntly playing it in handheld mode on the switch.

The game starts off a little slow but soon picks up, overall great story! Sorry no spoilers, excellent graphics on my new switch lite !

The 16 bit addition to this already great game makes this the definitive version! Great RPG and the demo if you played it Carrie's over.

Grandson enjoys this game more than rest of family

I adore this game. It's a love letter to classic turn-based JRPG's. By far my favorite game of this generation.

I was really looking forward playing this modern day "classic" but it felt short. Characters felt flat, story is boring and music is super repetitive. Some pros is it does feel like a classic rpg in gameplay and it looks beautiful. Aside from that, it's just ok.

So far the game has been pretty good but I'm still early on. So glad Square decided to give this game the proper treatment it deserved.

Love this franchise and if you do too this game is worth picking up!
