I LOVED the first one and preordered this one, but the deva waited until release day to have microtransactions. I refuse to play a single player game with microtranactions, especially ones for fast travel and editing your character.

I placed the order on the 20th, the confirmation said it would ship by the 22nd. Figured it would be a fast and easy delivery, ship from a local place like previous orders. But nnnnoooope. The next conformation I received basically said "oops, it won't arrive until the 5th of April, if it later you can maybe get a refund." .... great. Now its saying the 2nd, which is still 10 FREAKING DAYS LATE. I still want my pre-order metal case, but even if I didn't, there's no option for refund at this time. ... oh, and it's shipping from NY, I'm in WI , it's doesn't take 10 days, maybe 2 or 3 tops. ... looking at the other reviews and forums; I may not even get my bonuses. .... I sincerely wish I just ordered from Amazon or just got a digital copy... You failed pretty hard Best Buy.

Game needs some serious updates but has alot of potential

Pre-ordering this game was easy and was delivered ontime. It is a fun game. And Bestbuy is the only store that offers the pre-order bonus of a steelbook.

Game is great, but i didnt get my steelbook with the game. Steelbook was the only reason i bought the game and i didnt get one, nor can i buy just the steelbook.

Preordered only because of the steelbook case and I didn’t get a steelbook case. Very annoyed! It’s stuff like this is why I stopped dealing with Best Buy a long time ago. Last time I buy anything from Best Buy.

The game is really good. The bonus reward is a nice starter up. And the steel book looks nice like it was in the picture. Im ganna enjoy myself today.

The world of dragons dogma only gets better with this installment. The amount of classes you can choose from just from exploring.

I didn’t get my pre order bonus and none of the staff was very helpful I don’t think I’ll be buying from Best Buy any time soon also there movie selection had like 12 movies that was it

Dragon's Dogma is unlike just about any other game out there. It's story is silly, it's optimization isn't the greatest, and it seems to constantly try to find ways to fight its players through awkward practices that few other games would get away with. Even Eldin Ring had easy fast travel and a forgiving respawn system! Yet, if you know what you're getting into, DD2 is a true delight to play. It's challenging and sometimes just screws you over without any warning (like a griffon showing up to destroy your first ever cart ride), but it's also full of ideas and concepts that no other have has ever attempted. The pawn system alone is worth the price of admission. The combat is honestly fun, and the different classes each feel very unique. The game is as quirky as can be, and unapologetically original in its approach to the open world. In a sea of climbable towers and maps full of quest icons, it is an island to itself. The microtransactions are, honestly, nothing to write home about. I've never once felt a need to buy one, and Capcom is actively addressing some of the complaints about the game. They've already made it far easier to get one of the items you can buy with real money in the game for cheap, easily attainable in-game currency. Don't listen to the noise about that--they are no different than any other recent Capcom game. Resident Evil 4 had just as many, and i would argue that game tried to make them even more appealing for buyers.

I preordered the item to recieve the steelbook preorder bonus. Upon arrival to the store i was told that only the first 100 consumers would recieve a steel-book. What a sham.

Didn't come with the steel book I was very disappointed! Bad Best Buy! Bad! Game was okay. For the first time it wasn't packed very well. I'm usually very happy with my shipments from Best Buy but not today! :(

Pre order bonuses not honored by Best Buy. Have a chat transcript with them confirming pre order bonuses. After the receiving the game, no bonuses are there. They have no record of even having them. This company is laughable.

I’ve been waiting for this game for 12 years. I’d strongly recommend it to anybody who enjoys action RPG’s.
