The image quality is excellent and the magnification works well, also. So incredibly simple to set up and works like a charm. Highly recommend!

Easy setup. Good picture quality. Able to move it to different areas without a problem. Better than the ADT'S camera.

Great camera, excellent lens & microphone. playback is good, but no rewind or fast forward while viewing.

Cloud recording is too expensive. And also the camera detects motion for things like a shadow movement, which sends a false notification to my phone.

Camera quality during day is great, but depends on setting at night. Through window night vision doesnt work, needs outside lighting to help. No options on cloud saving except to pay monthly.

Wanted to keep an eye on my fur babies...works great for that. Lots of unnecessary alerts but that's ok with me. I think the yearly fee is too high so I will not be purchasing.

I use this as a nanny cam and has worked out great so far. The reason for 4 stars is that the streaming video tends to cut in and out every once in a while and is on a very minimal delay.

I bought the DropCam 2 weeks before the NestCam came out but reviews don't show much difference. Mine does not have a magnetic base and the new one does, that would be helpful.

Good no fuss camera for beginners. Setup is painless and works fine without subscribing to online storage. Beware of only digital zoom. Not good for those who want a detailed zoom.

Simple to use with your iphone. You can go back and check activity as far back as 7 days. You can hear and talk thru the camera. Really inexpensive way to guard your home

The quality of the Dropcam Pro is quite good . High Definition and wide angle are nice , after 3x zoom it is grainy . Lag time is not bad , you will not get completely smooth viewing or playback , but it is pretty good . You won't exactly miss anything too important . The build of the camera is excellent . Dropcam charges you a yearly fee if you want recording , and some other extras but overall , pretty good up to now . Recommended .

I feel like I'm too late to jump the bandwagon using this dropcam. Nothing like feeling secure about your home while at work. Love this so much that I bought another one.

love the 2 way audio and iphone app - we use it to watch over our new puppy when not at home. great streaming picture and ability to turn the camera on and off remotely

Great camera for security or as a baby monitor. You can two way communicate, view the camera from anywhere. Sort of disappointed that if you have more than 1 camera, you have to pay for recording on all of them. That's my only gripe.

Dropcam is super simple to set up and convenient to use. Customer Service is superb. They promptly respond with answers and solutions (when iPhone app wasn't working)

wifi works great on this drop cam. And the frames do lag a couple second but overall i will buying a next one for my living room. Also you can hear everything clear.

I bought three of these to monitor my entryways and garage. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and ease of setup. I'd love the option to be able to record to my own storage but DropCam does offer secure cloud recording for a fairly modest fee. One of the excellent features of this camera is the ability to define "zones" of motion. This is nice to define a specific area (say, a door) rather than a whole room. Sadly, you have to pay for the cloud recording to take advantage of this feature
