Super easy set-up and great picture. Ability to record and save clips. Have three of them and has a user friendly app for iPhone.

I heard the quality was good. But, after buying, and looking thru literature online, I found out that in order to have any real usefulness from this, you need to spend hundreds of dollars EACH YEAR for the ability to get a recording from the Dropcam people. There has to be a better and more honest approach. I took the unit back, ununopened and got a refund!

only problem I had was with the problem not staying connected all night. Upgraded my wireless router and it fixed the problem right away. Highly recommend the pro for $50 extra the viewing angles are drastically better

Fine camera but nest just released a new model with 1080 which is the same price. I would recommend the new model over this version

easy to setup and easy to use in most settings. Took less to setup than to eat an In N Out burger animal style! need lights.

Added this to my security system. Easy to install and use with ur smart phone. Check on the animals and the house whenever I want.

We use the camera to watch our pets when we are gone. It does a good job. Wish it was a little clearer, but overall great camera.

Pic a little grainy t tumes but overall a decent product got to sub for a baby monitor. Able to mount. Not inconspicuous though.

Works extremely well indoors and pretty good outside (I bought the outdoor housings for them) and will be getting more!

Easy to connect to the network, mobile client is great. If the wifi antenna was a little more powerful, I'd give this 5 stars.

This has a good wide angle viewing and can be set to be very sensitive. It will pick up shadow changes from the Windows.

Dropcam is a well designed camera. Love keeping an eye on my dog when I'm not home and my home when no one is there.

Just make sure you have strong intranet. If not the camera had to reload.

There have been some break-ins reported in my neighborhood lately, so even though I live on an upper floor in a condo complex, I decided to buy one of these and have it face the front door. It's basically a simple way for me to monitor any entering of my home when I'm away on business or vacation for long periods of time. I turn on the camera as soon as I leave via the mobile app. My one complaint is that it's a little difficult to turn on/off the camera via the app -- it probably takes 3-4 clicks. It works as advertised and alerts me by e-mail and on my phone when there's any kind of disturbance. It's quite sensitive so there are times when I suspect my neighbor's door has slammed and it alerts me, but I'd rather get the false alarm than not know. Overall it gives me an added sense of security that my place is safe when I'm away.

Easy installation. Great HD qualty day or night. I have tried other brands but this is the best one by far.
