Great picture and not very expensive to extend recording plan

Is not as clear as I would like, signal goes in and out with router right next to it,

Live in CT and have a house in FL we need to keep an eye on. This works great. We bought the 7 day recording for $9.95 per month which allows us to see any activity at the house when we are not there.

These cameras are easy to set up, great resolution and have an amazing interface for the computer and the phone. I set this up in my business and was able to catch some theft in progress. This thing paid for itself the first night!

I Love this cam BUT There isNo way to save special moments!! Sure U have a "CVR" cloud but that's all & it only saves for (1) option 7 days $$ & (2) option 30 days $$$$. Still a Cheap way to provide security in home.. Works Great !!

As a live view cam, its great. As a security cam/system, it fails because of forced cloud storage subscription and the alerts are horrible.

The Dropcam's pluses: easy to setup, good clarity, good audio, nice wide viewing angle, able to view and manipulate view through tablet or cell phone, good build quality, probably best-suited for indoor, residential usage minuses: limited by wi fi range. wi fi extender helped marginally

we use it for ourbaby. it is great. wish u could control the camera and make it turn. maybe the next generation. the app freezes sometimes but other than that we love it

Hardware is great, performs exactly as stated. The software however needs improvement. Still a bit glitchy with dropouts and freezing. I'm confident they'll sort it out as they partner with Nest.

Bought this a while ago and still use it along with my 2 new nest cams. Nest dropped this to 720p output after they bought dropcam, so that's a little upsetting.

It is great and far exceeded my expectations. This review is supposed to be a minimum of 50 characters, ridiculous. .

Use this at my coffee shop. Software is fantastic and let's you set up zones for monitoring. Love this thing.

Love the DropCam... Very useful and accurate! Immediate notifications... Lets me see exactly what's going on.

Good cam with easy wifi connection and streaming. App could be a little more complete. Overall I would consider buying additional cameras for security reasons...

Excellent wifi camera. I wouldn't waste my time with anything else. Definitely worth the money!!

Was going to have security firm install for just under $3000. Saw these on the internet and tried one and like it and bought 2 more. work great

Was too expensive for what I needed it to do. Went with Kasa instead

We use this as a way to monitor our home while away. Very effective. Decent imaging.

I use these cameras every day and I have several different kinds and this product is very reliable.

awesome camera, the app works great, the feature are great and setup took about 2 minutes. ended up buying another one
