I bought this camera to watch my dog when I am gone. It works great. I also bought one for my daughter to keep track of her new puppy litter. She loves it.

This camera had good picture quality, but there was a $10/month fee to use the cloud to review earlier recordings. No option to store on your own computer. Too expensive for me.

Works great in our 1500 sq condo as a nanny cam. Excellent night vision. Easy set up. We bought 2 -- one for the living room and one for the baby's room.

Went on vacation and saw that our pet sitter was not doing her job. Without this camera, we would have never known.

I had debated buying this for a couple months. I used an IOS app, along with my old iPhones, to use as a home monitoring system. That was fine for a while, but picture quality wasn't good enough. Finally bought a dropcam pro, and couldn't be happier. Now I can see what my dog is getting into while working. A little expensive for the 7day cloud recording, but $10-$15 a month is nothing when you break it down daily, skip on a Starbucks once a week and you will be even.

Easy installation. Very, very reliable. Easy to control/review from ANYWHERE in the World that has Wifi.

Awesome device. Crystal clear pic. Slow on the jump when getting notifications on the iphone. I have four and plan to buy three more in the future.

This camera is very clear. I like that I can go to dropcam.com besides my phone to look at live video.

I like these a lot and own 3 - keep in mind that you will need to pay a monthly/yearly fee if you wish to record either 7 or 30 days. I've tried many different security systems and cameras and this is the best so far but it does lose it's connection to the internet from time to time and you cannot use this with a static-IP router. I'm pleased, I do wish it was a little more reliable but that is the nature of electronics today... tomorrow it will be better.

Simple set up plug and go motion activated... great for security with cloud storage. I would recommend to all for simple set up...

Bought this camera for a friend, who likes being able to peek in to see how her dogs are doing. She loves this thing. Easy access from her phone, she can check in whenever she'd like, will sometimes correct poor behavior (like barking) with it, and has even used the camera to figure out which dog made what mess with what toy. I'm even tempted to get this for myself, despite that I only have cats (but they are sneaky little buggers!).

We bought this to keep an eye on our dogs while we are away from the home. We actually have this set at their level by their doggy door. We tell them to go out and they search for us and go outside. Other wise for 8-9 hours they stay inside and do not go potty! We want 3 more Drop Cams for the rest of the house!

Great setup and picture quality plus great user interface. However, recording options should be expanded and less expensive options made available.

I picked up one of these cameras as a simple security camera. The family liked them so much we now have three. We have them pointing out our windows to keep an eye on our neighborhood. For a simple drop and go camera they are hard to beat. The dvr service (which costs extra) is a nice idea. I do wish I could do local storage. The speaker in the camera is kind of weak but given the size of the enclosure it is acceptable. Also integration with nest thermostat is cool and home automation will only get better.

I love this product. It alerts me to motion, I can check my home from anywhere in the world, and back up to the cloud.

Incredible product. Works very well. As soon as there is motion detected in your house it will notify you via email.
