Although it sort of looks the same as the original, this is the newer version of the Dual Shock 4 controller (it has the lightbar on the touchpad). I played with the PS4 original controller for over 2000 hours of Destiny so the right trigger is a bit lose and the left thumb stick is wearing off. It still works, but Destiny 2 is around the corner and I've been wanting to buy a second controller for a long time (so my son could play other games with me and I can have a backup controller when defeating Ghaul). I love the red color.

Works like any controller, cool camo colors!! NOW, IF I could just get better, my skills are the only thing lacking... :D

Dualshock 4 is an excellent controller. I use it on PS4 and also on PC with a bluetooth adapter and InputMapper. Huge huge improvement on DS3.

Had Xbox for years and thought I would have a hard time getting used to the PlayStation controller. Fit get in the hand and works perfect.

Works great, according to my 12 year old grandson gamer. I'm rarely one to purchase the extended protection coverage, but I recommend getting the two year geek squad coverage for this one. Some of the buttons don't last well with the stress of play. I don't know of any better quality controller; looks like something that you just have to live with. The extra coverage on this one is two years, and the controller we replaced did not last quite that long.

Great controller, not as good as the amazing Nintendo Gamecube controller, but this controller fits and works well for PS 4.

great controller, the color looks great, easy to set up, the only thing is you have to get your own cable for charging. it does NOT include one.

The battery on it gives me about 12 hours game time.. Great design and the texture is better then the original.

Picked this up to replace an original PS4 controller that was showing some less than optimal battery life. After searching online for Dualshocks I was surprised to find that bootlegs are flooding the market. I grabbed this from Best Buy so there was no chance that a bootleg end up on my doorstep. The DualShock 4 worked perfectly right out of the box and has great battery life. You can’t beat the real thing, highly recommended!
