This came in a scratched up box and the controller has a tiny, but noticeable scratch on the left side. Sure its petty, but I bought a pretty controller so it can look pretty and already that is ruined. Even when its not under light, the scratch is visible. Not gonna return it because I'm not going through the waiting process. Thanks for ruining it, warehouse or Best Buy in Middleburg Heights OH!

Broke after less than a year (stick drift) and because the serial number on the back is smeared from a faulty printer (see picture) neither BB nor Sony will honor the warranty.

I bought this controller a few months ago and wanted to give it time before I gave it a review because as us gamers know; controllers can work great for a few weeks and than mess up shortly after. That was not the case with this controller! This controller works great and the battery life is amazing. I have forgotten to put the controller on the charger for a few days and went to play a game, disapointed thinking it would die I almost did not play, however I decided to give it a chance and it still worked for hours. I also like the vlear casing of the controller and how it feels in the palm of my hands. The feel is amazing. My hands do not cramp whike ising the controller and the thumb pads work effortlessly and keep the thumbs in control and comfortable. I have dropped the control multiple times and it has yet to break so it is obviously made with quality materials. It is very easy to use and easy to setup with the Playstation 4. I love the design, the quality, the battery life, and the feel of the controller. I bought four more-one for my husband and two for my kids. I will only buy Playstation Controllers never a knock off brand again.

Classic, fits the hand well! Responsive out of the box. Over time though a lot of these controllers develop stick drift. Which is really tough if your a serious gamer and it slips out of your hands even once. A modular controller or something more high end would be advised, but this checks all the boxes, has good battery life and no issues pairing! No extra buttons for modularity compared to high end controllers. Expensive for what you get, but classic.

I got my first PS4 in October or November of 2015, and I immediately fell in love with the DualShock 4 controller. I loved the size of it and the way it felt in my hands, and even now with the PS5’s DualSense controller, I still prefer this one (though the different haptics in the DualSense make it a very close contender). I also love that it is far more durable, whereas the new DualSense is very prone to developing stick drift. I use this with my PS5 whenever I play older PS4 games on it.

The controller is working excellently. The battery life is good and it connected easily to my PS4. It is comfortable to hold and the matte blue is easy on the eyes.

Despite how "refined" the DualSense feels, the DualShock 4 is still ergonomically more comfortable in my opinion. The addition of the trigger mechanisms in the former makes it heavier and finger placement more awkward. Not to mention the shape of the controller digs into my fingers somewhat. The sticks on this controller may not feel as smooth, but it feels great to hold and use, and it works great with Steam. I'd recommend stocking up before they're discontinued.

Both PS4 controllers I had were experiencing drift so I was looking for a replacement or 2 and hoped I'd find some discounted as the PS5s were taking over. Fortunately BB had these white ones on sale and I picked 2 up. I typically stay clear of white accessories as they start to look dirty soonest, but after 3 months they show no signs of drift or dirt and I've used one of them twice a day for that entire time period. No shock that original Sony products are the best, synced with my console immediately, and it's been flawless ever since. The great price was an awesome bonus!

Have gone through 3 of these in less than a year. Buy product replacement. The joy stick tends to jam and slowly gets worse. No Joy!

This is the new gen controller that comes with the PS4 Pro that has the cutout for the lightbar to shine through the touchpad. It also seems to have a connection through USB that allows you to use it through USB instead of bluetooth for less latency. the color is very bright red, and looks pretty awesome. i hope they redesigned the stick material so they don't wear off as easily as the old ones, but only time will tell!

My son has been needing a new PS4 controller. His was getting bad stick drift and was just overall old. So buying him a new one for Christmas was the best idea!
