My kids love it, we have an extra black controller and they don't use it because they say it looks boring compared to this one. In their little minds, they play better with this controller....LOL!

Preferred over the third party controllers as those break more often than these. These tend to last years if taken care of. I seem to get a year out of them when aggressively playing COD modern warfare when using the toggle sticks to run/sprint.

You need to get a charger separately if you don't have PS4. He plays game on his iPad without complaining. I thought the price is too high.

I bought it new and it works flawlessly with my PS4 (bought in 2014). I also have 2 aftermarket controllers, and I can say that the Sony controller is a little better in the joystick sensitivity department. The aftermarkets require a real hard yank for press to actuate, nothing beyond my kids' abilities, so they work, I just notice that the Sony controllers are smoother.

Has lasted me longer so far than the previous model controllers. Would go through a controller every couple of months but this one has lasted me longer. The light bar on the track pad is a really nice touch as well.
