You know what you're buying when you get one of these controllers. They work great and as expected. The color is a very nice dark blue. It didn't make me any better at playing PS4 games, so that's a bummer. Definitely a good buy if you're in the market for a Dualshock 4 controller with a different than standard color.

I was in need of a new controller and found this. For some reason the build feels more solid than the original controller that came with the system and the matte surface gives more grip. The original controllers are gloss black and smooth. Game play is much better as my old controller was slightly worn and beat up. Definitely satisfied with the purchase although little more expensive than expected but well worth it

It's pretty incredible to me that PlayStation basically built the perfect foundation for a controller with their first DualShock. With each new PlayStation console, they have added to and improved said foundation, the DualShock 4 maintaining said trend. While each version is a clear successor of the previous one, the 4 is definitely the biggest departure in overall structure. The design has been changed to make it handle a bit better (not a huge improvement, but a noticeable one), the new touch pad feature had me wary initially but won me over with its ease and multiple uses, a vibration detector that is just perfect for a game like 'Until Dawn' where you literally have to be still or be detected in-game. There is also a light bar which changes colours according to the game you're playing and the action you're taking (for example, if the police are after you in 'Grand Theft Auto V', the light blinks red and blue). This is a fun new addition, but I do lament the inability to turn it off as it does drain the battery faster than it would otherwise. You can adjust the brightness level, but unfortunately not turn it off altogether. It's a minor thing that doesn't hinder my overall adoration of the controller, but if there's one thing I would change, it would be that.

I bought this for my bff for Christmas. He was so stoked as he had old controllers and the batteries died so quickly. Now he can play for days without a charge. The red color is so fire.

Great PS4 controller brand new. I recharge once a day. I was needing one and Best Buy had it. I received when Best Buy said I was going to get it. Best Buy always seems to me the place to go for anything technical. I'm sorry I didn't go to Best Buy first. Best Buy is number one.

Obviously, you have to get these if you graduate to this next-gen system. However, having played with DualShock controllers since the days of the PS2. This is easily the best one yet. The addition of the touch-pad is interesting and useful, but honestly the best improvement is the addition of a headphone / microphone jack to the remote itself - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

Sony definitely hit it at out the park when they made the PS4 controller works great. Looks good and the red is really nice

I had recently purchased a ps4 and really did not need another remote yet, but I knew it would not hurt to have one. I am very satisfied with this purchase nevertheless, aside from its vibrant red, the remote works great, has a long battery life and is a great addition to the game console.

Really meets my expectations I also like the color.i like the shock it makes the game really exciting. Connects easily to console the buttons are colorful and very sensitive in really tight spots analog sticks seem to be really strong and haven't torn. So that makes me come to the conclusion that the duelshock lives up to the Sony name. thank you legend santee ca

Excelente controller best quality for the price and to this day it hasent got stick drift or any problems

I purchased this gamepad after purchasing my PS4, but use this specific one for my PC. I love that this gamepad is plug and play, and requires absolutely no other programs to utilize this controller. I use this to play Final Fantasy XIV online on my PC and it works perfectly fine. I tried using an XboX controller, and absolutely hate it. With the PS4 controller, I can move my character with the left analog stick with my right thumb, and perform certain actions on the D-pad with my left thumb at the same time. I could not get used to the switched D-pad/analog stick of the xbox controller. For any Sony lovers who want to get started playing with their PS4 controller for PC, all you need is this device. To play wireless all you need is an additional bluetooth dongle. Again, no additional programs required. All you have to do is get your dongle and gamepad to sync. This requires you to turn off your controller, and ready your dongle, then press and hold the PS button and share button at the same time. Use google for further instructions. Again you do not need any additional nonsense programs. At least I didnt on my PC and windows 10, for FFXIV.
