This is by far the best PlayStation controller Sony has made, not only is an improvement from the previous generation but a new design. The construction build and the materials are far superior than the past generations, you can tell the difference when you press the buttons and move the joysticks during game play. The ergonomics are great specially because this controller is a little bigger, it doesn't feel like a "toy controller". Its shape fits very comfortable in the hands plus the bottom has a diamond pattern so you can get a good grip on it. The battery is good too I usually play 2 to 3 hours every other day, except for weekends I have gotten up to 6 hours of game play on a single session out the battery, so if you play everyday for more than 4 hours I recommend having at least 2 controllers to keep one charging while you play and switch as needed. Last but not least look at the awesome urban camo colorway, no more boring solid colors.

Purchased this remote to replace one that was used and abused by my fiancé. Almost a year later and it's holding up like a champ. Also, the red is beautiful. Buy the protection plan and if anything happens (not a crazy destruction of course) they will replace it. Gotta love the amazing warranty Best Buy offers!

Everyone has their favorite colors or color schemes, and mine happens to be camouflage. If you're looking for a change in the standard solid colors, this is one of the few available options at the moment. I believe there have been a few limited edition controllers with random color schemes, but none as available and affordable as this one. Of course the contoller works as intended and has the feel you expect out of a Playstation contoller.

DualShock is by far superior when it comes to stock console controllers, was using this for pc for a while.

What can I say an open box oem controller. Works great and I got it at a nice price. I'm sure they'll be cheaper soon with Sony staying to close servers. Get some now y'all

my old controller's left stick was becoming weird and was playing Resident Evil Revelations. Somehow, its gotten weird and I couldn't play it properly. with this controller, it feel like brand new all over again. Just perfect. strongly recommend to anyone if your controller starts to feel weird to you? Buy a new one. :) oh I also got it on sale for less than $39.99.

Got the PS4 slim with the new controller and than ended up buying this one as well. Controller works great as expected, long battery life (about 7 hours of continuous play on a COD/titanfall type of games) and than all you have to do is get a long usb cable (not included) for about 10 dollars and you're set. Its gotta built in speaker as well as lights on the front of the controller that can be seen while playing a game.

I waited 2 years to make this review. Here it is. The quality is amazing. Arrived in mint condition. The mic port worked. The charge port worked. The battery lasts all day long. No drift issues after a few months, but after 2 years, only slightly that is easily fixed by blowing into the joysticks. I suspect dirt since I am a heavy gamer. If you're looking for a Ps4 controller that doesn't give out on you easily then I suggest buying off Best Buy. I still use the controller to this day and it has been good to me through shooters and rpgs alike. The product was heavy as a legit Sony Ps4 Controller should be. Came in a squared box as it should be and not some plastic box formed like the controller as it should not be. If you're a fellow gamers finding it difficult as to where to buy a good controller, then go with Best Buy. Trust. Thanks Best Buy. I'll be buying my Sony hardware products from you guys from now on.
