The magma red dualshock 4 controller is the highest quality controller available from Sony. Functionally, it is identical to all the other Dualshock 4 controllers on the market (black, white, blue, grey, and all the other special/limited edition controllers that have come and go). Unfortunately, Sony has only been changing up the colors of their controllers but haven't released any controllers with increased functionality or performance. I've already gotten three dualshock 4 controllers replaced since I got my PS4 on release date. After the end of the one year warranty, there's not much choice than to get a new controller when the sticks get worn down, or the vibration motors start to feel weird, or the L3 stops holding, or something goes wrong with one of the triggers. As of right now, there's not much better you can get without going to a third party company that sells custom modified dualshock 4's. If you have a PlayStation 4, you really can't go wrong with this Dualshock 4, especially if you like the color red.

I purchased this controller for my son to replace his broken controller. He loves it the color especially. Works great. Best Buy had the controller when it was sold out everywhere else.

Love the color of this controller!! It perfectly matches the controller that came with my glacier white PS4 system!! Controller looks very sleek and has all the new same features that the regular black controller has. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, different and sleek PS4 controller.

Love the dualshock 4. Old one has a couple buttons break and the micro USB port started becoming very loose. After about 1000 hours of play in a year. Great controller. Only real con is the fact that it uses micro -usb. Works with Macs and PCs and PS4. just plug and play.

I had a few controllers over my years and all i can say is, they all broke. Either some got destroyed or some just randomly broke (which we will not discuss) All i can say is that this controller is very good compared to my old ones, i was desperately looking for a good one because I did NOT want to waste my money. And well, I definitely did not. Totally worh the buy you should definitely consider this!

I honestly got this because this was an anniversary edition Playstation controller. It reminds me so much of the original Playstation controller, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it. It works really well, so I have no complaints on it. This is worth having if you're a Playstation fan.

Came new in packaging. The latest model ps4 controller. Best Buy shipped it fast, it arrived fast, and even included a 9’ cable to connect it. Pretty excellent.

Pros: Standard build. Ergonomically good, Cons: Micro USB cable does not lock into place-causes intermittent character freezes on screen while playing. There needs to be a hard wired version for sale. The options button is flush with the handset and that makes it difficult to press, especially for some games where the inventory is mapped to that button. The dual function of the mushroom sticks cannot be remapped or separated, and due to the minimal effort needed to press down to select the secondary function, I find that while playing action games the secondary function is accidentally triggered while I am playing. I am going through two or three of these handsets per year, as there are small components internally that break, e.g. trigger buttons, function buttons sinking, joystick not quite returning centre causing the joystick pointer to auto-track on screen.

This controller has been great and made the foundation of what is the Dual sense now

i love the design of this PS4 DS4 control, plainly because i like the simple translucent color. Function wise , just as smooth and neat as the regular PS4 DS4 control, great connection to my laptop (windows system), and work well with most of the game. I can even set it up with simulators for such as PS2 games . And the battery last long enough for you to get hours on the game with non stop. Recharging is fast and buttons are sturdy. So no regret and fair enough for full 5 stars.

Connected easily to ps4. Works well. Bought for my husband since his old controller was having issues.

My son's PS4 controller was going wonky so I swung by Best Buy and purchased this replacement controller. It connected instantly and works exceptionally well, better than the one it replaced. My son is very happy!
