-Love the Dual Shock 4, it's the best feeling controller of the generation of consoles controllers. The battery life is great and it's rechargeable. -The only con for this controller is that there isn't a pro version which is easily solved with a Strike pack by Collective Minds or the Dual Shock 4 Back Button attachment made by Sony.

I originally bought my 1st Playstation 4 pro last month, it only had one controller. I usually like fighting games (Marvel vs Capcom) or NBA 2K, so i needed an extra controller. Lucky, i found this controller on sale (-$10 off). It has been working great! I just charged it up and get ready to play when i get home from work. The controller feels sturdy and looks good. I bought a charging station and boom you are set for playing. I recommend it.

There's nothing mechanically 'different' about this controller versus the other official Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers that are available. This is the new generation so it has the annoying backlight, yes. And I still don't understand the gimmick behind all of the touchpad nonsense, especially as a disabled gamer. However, the frosted, semi-transluscent outer shell makes for an aesthetically pleasing alternative to the 'bright-white' options that are typically seen. And seeing as the black controller option has, well, black buttons and inputs, this is a *huge* upgrade in the visibility department. By providing a high-contrast between the controls and the body, the controller is now *significantly* more accessible than the controller that was shipped with the PS4. I threw some of the lowest-profile KontrolFreak grips on the thumbsticks and I'm actually able to use this thing for a couple of hours before my hands start having issues. The DualShock 4 definitely seems to be better than the XBox One controller in that department. I was specifically on the prowl for a DS4 controller I could actually see the controls on. I was thrilled that there was an alternative to plain white or grey for that option. This is an extremely visible option that looks fantastic. If the colors on the right-hand buttons were just a little bit lighter in color, it would be perfect.

I personally bought this PS4 controller just so I can play video games on my iOS devices & because I liked the color red. And it works perfectly! But for the same price you can also get a PS5 controller for the same thing. So it’s really up to your personal preferences on what type of controller you want to use or like.

I have to say these controllers are phenomenal, from the quality (no rough edges or gaps, high quality finish) to the speaker hays built in and the touch pad. The only gripe I can give this controller is the battery could last longer imho but it still last for about four-five hours of gameplay but it does give you plenty of heads up when it's dying. Also not having to use batteries is a bonus, I recommend buying a charger stand also.

The product is new as indicated. My spouse originally thought the purchase was directly through Best Buy. However, when placing the order, it was realized this is not the case. This is through a 3rd party seller. While I appreciate the product appeares new as indicated, if I wanted a 3rd party seller, I could have ordered off Amazon for less money. Through the process of ordering, my card was skimmed and attempted to have Apple Pay set up in Hong Kong. I don't even use Apple Pay because it's so rampant with scams as it is. I was also charged twice for the purchase and had to wait 3 business days for the duplicate charge to drop off. All things considered, would not order from this 3rd party again.

I purchased the DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 -Midnight Blue after my original controller failed. This controller met all of by expectations smooth, great feel and spot on control in a great color to boot. Highly recommend.
