PS4 control works as it should

I really like the gold color and the way it feels. The light from the control is visible in the front touch pad but other than that it works as it should. I would have liked it to include a USB charging cable, but that is a manufacturer con.. not BestBuys fault. I recommend it to other gamers.

Should I buy a second controller?

The alternate can charge while you play, then switch when the battery dies. As for the controller itself, I wish the thumb joysticks were a bit more ergonomic. Maybe if they were a ball that was squishy, so your finger was immersed into it, rather than a harder plastic. Still, a far cry from the 2600 joystick!
