The only thing i would recommend after (or before) buying one is getting a new charger for the controller and saving the one it comes with. The cord packaged with it is extremely short and you wont be able to play while it charges

It's much more comfortable to hold over long periods of time. ... Games can also take over the light and change its color, but the most practical use is the amber glow the DualShock 4 emits while it's charging.
