Picked this up to replace an original PS4 controller that was showing some less than optimal battery life. After searching online for Dualshocks I was surprised to find that bootlegs are flooding the market. I grabbed this from Best Buy so there was no chance that a bootleg end up on my doorstep. The DualShock 4 worked perfectly right out of the box and has great battery life. You can’t beat the real thing, highly recommended!

look, feel, and design are all exceptional in my option. I’ve been a PS user since PS1. The dual shock 4 is a awesome controller.

This controller does feel good in the hand. Triggers are reponsive and react well. Color is a nice red and isn’t outlandish.

The color of the controller is quite wonderful and I love that the controller feels quite unique but still familiar to the ps2 and ps3.

SO yeah, I love the new play station 4 controllers, they just seem to fit in your hand perfectly and they have a super durable feel to them. 10 outta 10.

Upgraded from PS3 and these controllers are great. I hope they last longer than the PS3 since they started to fail little by little. The camo color is cool.

These are so cool looking with all of the quality and durability that is known with Sony PS4 controllers.

Controller performs great, just like any other DS4. The nostalgia factor is strong here, and it was one of the reasons I bought it (well, it was on sale too, cheaper than a "typical" DS4 even). The battery life, though, is just as suspect as the battery life in other DS4s I've used. These things just do not hold charge for long. I generally turn vibration off, dim the light bar as much as feasible, have controller turn off after an hour of non-use, and rarely use a headset (not sure how much a headset might matter here, but mentioning it nonetheless). Even with all that, the battery still drains from 100% to 50% after 10 or maybe 15 hours of playing. This didn't happen with DS3s, so not sure how much more technically complex the DS4 is over those. There are plenty of homebrew ways to change the battery out for a better one (online search is your friend if you go this route). Still, it's disappointing to have to do that on a brand new item. While recommended, keep that charging cable at the ready.

Bought to go with my son's Spider-Man PS4 bundle. He's had no issues with it. Loves the red.

We have purchased about 4 controllers. They are sturdy. Great feel for everyone big or small.

I really like this controller, charges pretty quickly, and holds that charge through hours of game play. The haptic feedback creates a additional level of immersion during gameplay, and the button/trigger layout feels intuitive. My first Dualshock 4 wireless controller only lasted 6 months before I noticed functionality issues. I rarely purchase insurance, but this is a product where I would recommend picking a Bestbuy insurance plan along with your purchase.
