Best version of the Dual Shock ever

It's larger, more comfortable in the hands, and the touchpad, which at first seems gimmicky, is actually really useful. I also like that they copied the Wii Remote's built in speaker, as it really helps with immersiveness in some games.

Great controller with new features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone has their preference for controllers, the difference is the degree of seriousness taken with said preference. While the new DualShock 4 is by no means perfect, it does have an intuitive interface that helps the playability of some games. Not only does the touch pad work as such, it is also a button that will perform not-so-apparent functions in some games. Gone are the "Start" and "Select" buttons, replaced instead with the "Options" button. It makes the design cleaner and the interface more intuitive. There is also a "Share" button, but I don't use Social Media, so I can't comment on its usefulness. One of my favorite features, however, is the lighted status indicator on the front of the controller. It will change colors to indicate actions, like loading, saving, etc. Overall, it's a great design and an improvement over the last model!
